To me, he's one the greatest humanists in cinema and the greatest finn alive. Also severely underrated in Finland even though there's no-one who better captures the northern way of being, not even close.
@@iskanderx4523 Sure, think of stuff like Kummeli kultakuume, Napapiirin sankarit or the newest Tuntematon Sotilas. That's stuff virtually everybody in the country knows about.
@@iskanderx4523 Solar Films makes the mostly Finnish mainstream movies and I have to say every Finn has seen at least one (most likely several) of their movies. Mostly pretty average Finnish movies and some of them are pretty good actually, but there are also some very bad ones.

I think he said too thin. Like birth rates going down and not enough people to keep like retirement money on check for younger generations. Then again is the bad side of still not being enough of work because world economy is shit and they are (big countries) trying to fix it by just printing new money into circulation especially now because of covid and we don't really know if it's going to work (never been done like this) or just crash the economy even harder when the bubble bursts. So the immigration is kinda needed in one hand but in the other the timing is hard. And the way to do it is in baby steps, take small amounts at one at the time and not just place them in one place (where they will not come to finnish culture but have their own place to associate with their own language with people culturally closer or from their own countries) without enough help to actually come enrich the culture not the other way around (and therapy is pretty clear one for those who have had it very bad, but things like that costs fck ton so and gets flooded if we take in crazy amounts at once). But those are just my opinions. The first part is how I took what Aki meant.
