Live plants helps humidity. If you have a beefy pothos mother plant you could keep pulling off pieces for your enclosures to fill them out!

Probably should be making sure I got the right stuff before but I had been researching them so long I remembered everything right so woo it’s perfect and now just going to put a few more together and order a few from you. I did branches and maple bark because loads came off a tree last storm and they are thick bark peace’s and the have so many plants that everything in my house gets plants like honestly idk why my plants do so good but I have spider plants and wondering Jew for days my tortoise gets it as a regular weekly treat

Subbed and liked! I just got my first lizard and it’s a tokay gecko. I thought I could just have it in my house. I keep my house at 67-70 degrees F. I bought a heat lamp for the gecko but I know I’m only supposed to have that on for 8 hours. What do you recommend I do for the other time so that he isn’t too cold?

Earplugs, you forgot earplugs. I spend 5 months a year primarily in the Philippines. As pretty as they are, and interesting to watch,..... they are LOUD, especially if one takes up residence in your attic!

Tokay geckos are almost litter boxed trained. I've noticed all of mine poop in one specific spot. Easy to clean.

Hey guys can someone help me? I have had two young tokay geckos for a month, I have a 1 meter high and 90 wide terrarium where I keep them. I have a temperature of 28-30 degrees in the terrarium. I spray the terrarium twice a day for moisture. but i have the problem that since i got them they haven't eaten once i have offered them many insects but they are not interested. However, the geckos are active at night and show no signs of being unwell, what can be the reason that the geckos are not eating?

You have them cohabited? Tokays are terriotorial. Theres a high possibility they aren't eating due to stress becasue of cohabitation.

I have a similar problem, I ended separating them, the male has been eating like a beast but the opposite could be said for the female she’s been dropping weight like crazy and not eating anything I’ve been thinking abt possibly giving it a pinkie if it takes it

I literally fed my tokay that I had like 20 years ago live mice... It would dive bomb out of a massive terrarium from the top all the way to the bottom and snatch up a mouse. 👀

Do you think with a big enough enclosure your could keep Tokay Geckos and monkey tail skinks together? Monkey tail skinks are herbivores so they wont fight for food or try to eat the gecko and the gecko is small enough to not mess with the big skinks. They both need temps in the mid 70s to mid 80s and high humidity so they could live in the same climate....

Still wouldn't risk it, if tokays are willing to chomp a big ape, a slightly bigger lizard in its territory is a threat, despite its diet. Keeping their tanks together, with something in between, is a better option as they have similar requirements and can function under the same system (if big enough). Overall, no cohabing a Pokémon wild-type demon with a sweeter vegan lizard.

Dave Kauffman went and found them in the wild and said the heat should be alot higher , 95 to 100 for hot spot and 85 ambient.. what do u think. ? That's what I do for mine..

I appreciate davs videos going out in the wild, but I don't believe you can base the tokays care on the short period of time he's conducting these videos. There's a lot more variables to consider.
