I think this song has an underlying meaning, he personifies his fanbase as the girl he's talking about, needing to take care of it, being his crutch, seeking validation, reminding him of the youth he gave up for music, doing anything to make sure they are happy, 'knowing they ain't the one' - he knows he shouldn't always try to satisfy the fans but he is intoxicated by the validation the fans give. I think he just wants to be seen as a person, he was asking for 'non rapper questions' in the premiere so I think that he was trying to tell us something. Anyway, Token you are an absolute genius. Thank you for giving up your teenage years for us.

When I got out of the military and wen't back home I did the same shit, wen't after 18 year olds and did everything I could to make them fall in love knowing I never would just to feed my own ego. I've since grown the fuck up and did my best to make amends, I hurt a lot people and while some people laugh it off you can seriously have a long lasting effect on other peoples future relationships. I was just so stunned...after that Hopsin came down into the crowd and rapped beside me. I almost passed out and had to leave early! Still kicking myself. Token is one of the best of the best. I got chills throughout most of the video, this one’s deep man. It’s interesting because typically his lifestyle is desired by all those who are seeking fame and clout and all the women/men that come with it, but once obtained it’s like Token knows how it actually all resonates with a person. You can tell the fame’s impact on him makes him feel morally sick, like he isn’t entirely himself and can’t be himself because of what he’s looked at as. He also shows just how much he can control someone’s life with that fame and power, with all types of females not seeing what they’re getting caught up in so young and not understanding the organic experience they’re losing as a growing teenager such as the girl getting pulled from class and getting in a wreck with Token. These guys really do mess up girl’s lives but I love how Token shows how the influence he has and his power can really overtake someone’s life and mind.
