He had a struggle at the beginning of his career but for about 20 years no one has really cared. He still acts like everyone is going against him but they’re not. Just about all modern rappers respect Eminem greatly and see him as one of the best. I hate to say it but it seems like he’s just trying to be relevant again. And this isn’t coming from a place of hate, for most of my life I’ve been considered an Eminem Stan.

I didn't even know Joe Budden spazzed over it until after, but regardless he admitted he didn't even hear the whole album. He based his opinion off his initial bias over reaction to the controversial song Untouchable. The song itself was one of the greatest rap masterpieces of all time hands down, I can understand why he would immediately be mad, but he really wasn't giving it a chance because of his own frustrations with his career under Shady Records. If he had listened to Eminem separate from his beef with the record label, he would have not only gave it a chance, but would have probably actually appreciated his conclusion at the end of the song. It was really low of Joe to say that making money off such hard hitting issues is never ok. The most celebrated pieces of art in history deal with the toughest topics. Eminem is the undeniable king of controversy, but he, unlike many others, actually gives a shit about those in the struggle. The track, along with the album deserved to be heard by everyone at the time, actually, more like we all deserved to hear it, but Joe sullied that opportunity. Eminem obviously doesn't need to rap to make money. To say that is just ignorantly stupid considering Joe's pathetic "retirement". The track itself was purposefully composed to be hard to listen to. There are many examples of Em doing this like Fack and Kamikaze, but for the first time ever he made the "pathetic white voice" hard to hear for a real reason. Very few others nowadays paint with music like this. The end of the song is so incredibly powerful in comparison, that's why there's two beats in the song. Em is beyond the comprehension of critiques and he's outlined that himself in the past, as well as recently, concerning the new school RU-vid reactors. Everyone, especially Joe Budden, now has a seriously debilitating crutch in the form of internet clout that can keep people relevant. The music now only matters to a select few. Eminem is one of those people, yet the masses constantly dismiss him, that's why he's frustrated. Hell, I'm frustrated for him. The more people that really listened to Untouchable the more lives that would have been saved. Meanwhile, the internet has fallen in love with Joe... who I now simply refer to as Jokes.

I think a lot of people overlook the skill it takes to put a song together in general, and even with all the same resources they have, I know not just anyone can put a song together like that. It takes skill to make something that catchy, believe it or not. I don’t listen to much new age pop rap, I prefer the underground always. But trashing on these guys because they sound different than what you’re used to or they don’t fit your exact preferences is kinda bitchy and makes you look like you’re whining.
