Seen this dude in Detroit, some basement. I was high af in the front leftside of the crowd holding an iPhone 5s recording token on stage, about halfway through I got tired of jumping around so I stood still for a moment. Then token locked eyes with me for a moment, he spotted me looking lazy, like I didn't care to be there. I was really enjoying the music but you gotta understand I just heard of this guy 30min before showing up. He gazed into my soul while not missing a word to his song. His pist off face was a bright telling of him being upset at me for not jumping with the crowd. I thought to myself "this guy clearly want me to join in" after what felt like 45sec. of stairing at me I decided to jump with crowd. The grin on his face grew twice as wide as he slowly jumped away to finish the song. It was fun finding out the guy on the way to the concert. He filled that basement. I had a blast 10/10 would see again

I don't understand why Token doesn't have the recognition of Artists like Logic/Joyner at least at this rate. Like I understand the collabs can open you up to a new audience, and Token isn't a big fan of that. Which I mean he collaborated with Tech N9ne so I feel like he should have gotten a little more recognition from that on his last album. But either way lyrically he's as good if not better than the other two, and I know a lot of people that know all 3, just makes me wonder why he has such little recognition in comparison when pretty much every song he puts out is amazing.
