What I love about Japan is that everything is so well thought out from the shops at the pit stops on Mount Takao to the feet soaking area. They even took the time to name each individual resident monkey which is just too kawaii 😀
Well said! Always appreciate that about Japan as well. They make sure each part of an experience is not just convenient but also memorable. 🤍 The monkey detail was too cute haha
What a wonderful day! 🌿👺 l hiked Mt.Takao five times this spring to sketch because so many wildflowers bloom there in the spring. You can also enjoy the Takao 599 Museum, which is free.
2:15 Other than going to Japan again one of my goals is to get a shinkansen bento. I think they range between $5USD and $10USD if I remember correctly. Ralph has such a great smile. Not sure if he notices it but he really glows when he smiles! Oh yeah, and Sam.. if both of you don't pursue modeling maybe you can moonlight as a hand model. Think about it! Maybe I'll see you guys some day in Japan. That would be awesome or I can also play tour guide in Taiwan too! 😁Either/or! I love the combination of narration and text. I usually hate reading but the mix is a good variety! Also, what about living in Japan part time? 💡 Sam can open a shop part of the year there and then hire a manager for the other part! ok I'm done. Thanks again for another great video! Looking forward to more adventures and Instagram posts/reels!
Always enjoy waking up to your comments! 😂 Hey, maybe we'll bump into each other in Taiwan like you said. Honestly, you sound like you'd make an excellent tour guide! 🙌🏻
@@RalphSam my Mandarin and Taiwanese has slipped a bit or at least I noticed small bits. Maybe meet in Japan instead? Haha. I can still flex my Mandarin in many parts of Osaka. 😁
There is a Keio line from Shinjuku that takes you straight to Mt. Takao. I sometimes take that line because I live in Hachioji. Did you go on a weekday because the weekends are usually packed? Always like the vibes of your videos.
I'd recommend taking the chair lift down, it's so fun! One of my fav memories from my solo trip years back. You can enjoy the beautiful colours if you go during autumn!
Ralph! I actually stopped the video at the beginning to look at your breakfast choice :) I normally eat like you do. Thanks for another soothing video! I definitely want to try Mt. Takao!
Thanks for asking! My usual breakfast has to have rice, sunny side up, sautéed mushroom and avocado. When I saw you have added Japanese hamburger steak I thought that’s a great idea and want to try! It’s a great addition for your protein!!
@@RalphSam Since my high school was in Nakano (next to Shinjuku), Today we had two choices: Should we climb Tokyo Tower? Or Mt Takao? 🐒 That was our second-hand clothing store tour 😁
@@RalphSam Yes, I agree. But I think Ralph-san & Sam-san know more about it now 🌎 Thanks to this channel, I know the world is still charming 😃 Thank you. I'm sorry again.
Obviously your little hike gave you folks an appetite. I’m laughing, because when my husband and I visit japan, we can only eat about a quarter of that in a day. Oh, to be young! 😂
Mount Takao has a sweet spot for us. It just nice when there is only the two of us which is very rare now. But you should have gone to see the monkies they are so funny. Even if one did pinch my phone the last time we were there.
Luckily there were very few people when we went. Not crowded at all. Such a lovely break in the middle of our Tokyo trip. And omg, hope you got your phone back! 😂
