I already have predictions on what animals all the male mew mews are. So far, one of my theories has been confirmed (Kanda being a komodo dragon), but since there's only 3 chapters out, I still have to wait to confirm the rest. After all, I only found half of the first chapter translated. PS: Premieres are definitely worth it when it comes to interacting with fins in live time while they watch your video.
So far we have Aoi (Iriomote Wildcat), Shizuka (Amazon River Dolphin) and Ryuusei (Komodo Dragon). Ayato was introduced in chapter 3 but that ended in a cliffhanger without his animal being known. Some have guessed it to be the Red-Crowned Crane or some other type of fancy-looking bird. Taichi hasn't been introduced yet but some think he's a snow leopard. Hopefully, we'll find out Ayato's animal when chapter 4 comes out sometime next week. Taichi's might take a while.
I am so open to a reboot ngl. This was my first anime and it holds a special place in my heart and memories. I, too, will riot if it’s a pachinko machine lol, or anything that’s not an anime reboot or manga.
Amanda Hauer wouldn’t mind that either! It’d be interesting to see if they make a version of a la mode that’s way different from the manga (so that it goes with the anime timeline), or just stick with a closer adaptation of it.
Gosh I'm so happy that even 20 years on people still so much into Tokyo Mew Mew ! I don't feel so stupid about liking that series even if I'm now an adult
If it's a anime re-boot i'll pay to see it, and I'll go on a riot if it's a live action remake.... Also be great if the original anime got a un-cut more fateful re-dub in English like the original Sailor Moon anime.
I so hope that we get a proper international release. Honestly, Netflix might not get their modern Anime releases right but they'd do well with nostalgic Anime properties like Tokyo Mew Mew which was everywhere during the 2000s Anime boom. Yeah, Eva's redub didn't exactly "go well" per say but I personally think that TMM would do well on that streaming platform.
I really hope it's a reboot that gets a more faithful English dub. I'd try to get together with all my old friends who I met through TMM and do a watch party if that happened
I would cry if we get a new anime series, and would sorrily be disappointed if it was a pachinko machine. I've strayed from the franchise a little after i finished the manga, but it's always been something so close to my heart, and im so excited for all this new content!
Maybe Tokyo Mew Mew series should have a reboot like Sailor Moon Crystal, Cardcaptors Clear Cards and Digimon since it's 20th Anniversary since the series was last seen 20 years ago.
Sorry for the question as I think you did talk about that (yet I'm still confused), but will the reboot we available in english in volume forms and not magazine one? I'm a bit of a sucker for physical manga..........
Tokyo Mew Mew Ole / Au Lait volume 1 (containing the first 4 chapters) will be released in book form on April 13th in Japan. There hasn't been news yet on when TMM 2020 Re-Turn will be released in book form. Also, it's too soon for there to be an English dub/translation announcement. So that's a "not yet".
Hey, it's been awhile, HikaYagami. Standard Definition on Bluray? That is unusual. And new Tokyo Mew Mew? Interesting. By the way, was that Rondo playing in the background since the beginning of the Video? Yeah, apparently our favorite Franchises are now in Pachinko form. 😑
hello hika yagami😭i just love your videos about tokyo mew mew and i saw them all I was just wondering Do you have the greek dub of mew mew power? Even if its just small clips. I am so curious about the greek dub since i am greek although i havent seen it
@@larisastr427 I used to have a 2nd channel that had all of the episodes up but RU-vid took it down XD. I can make download links. So send me an e-mail and I'll see what I can do.
The first volume has been released in Japan, with the 7th chapter being released in a couple of days. There hasn't been any word on an official English translation yet.The Japanese decided to use "Tokyo Mew Mew Ole!" as the English version of the title (even though the title is a 3-way pun), so you can try searching that too.
I'm a little worried, if it's a adaptation of the manga, there are moments... Well... Who are a little creepy for young people. I hope that will be not too much.
Official translations don't usually come out until the manga books are released in Japan. Considering that Au Lait's first book isn't going to be released in Japan until April 13th, It's too soon for that or 2020 Re-Turn to get an official English translation. There are some scanlations around if you look on Tumblr.
Dubs nowadays are usually pretty faithful. I'm sure the script is gonna be a direct translation. I just hope they keep the 4kids voice cast and character names (except for Kiki and Mark, they could use a re-cast, and keep the show's Japanese title). I get that not everyone loves the 4kids dub, but it's not the same without them. Even then, I'm sure they can give far better acting under new voice direction. *(Also, 4kids made Eliot/Ryou acknowledge he's been a jerk in episode 25, while the Japanese version had Zoey/Ichigo apologize to HIM after he disregards and belittles her for 25 long episodes, which makes me appalled. So that's one thing 4kids improved on).* I also hope they give us English-dubbed theme songs (as opposed to completely original theme songs).
The original anime came out in Japan in 2002. It's Mew Mew's 20th anniversary because the first chapter of the Manga was released in 2000. It was the English dub that came out in 2005.
While I don't mind most Viz dubs, the only thing I would really hate if they had the rights is that they have a tendency to block videos containing anime they own. So if they did, a lot of the videos on RU-vid will be gone XD.
While I wish they keep the 4kids cast, I admit Kiki and Mark could use a re-casting. What do you think? New dub with the same cast, or re-cast everyone?
