I might be a newbie to Mew Mew after watching a few episodes (*dispite being a boy and all.) but y'know? I think this is pretty cool imo :) Also, after knowing that the main characters of this series have the DNA of the Animals like a Wolf and a Cat? it kinda someday inspires me to make my own story for the Mew Mew universe, and it would be about 3 brothers who have the same DNA abilities as the three mammal and 1 sea-type Dinosaurs such as the Smilodon, the Mosasaurus, and the Archaeopteryx as their buddy from school would also have the DNA ability of the Triceratops too. Plus, their group name like the Mew Mews would be called the "Dino Dinos" lol. Haha, what can I say? I just love making crazy ideas 😆
I’m Italian, and I love the Japanese version, but the Italian one is very beautiful, this anime and this song really remind me my childhood. Also the anime was very very popular back in the past, and a lot of people still remember and sing the songs today because they are so iconic here, I saw people playing the Italian songs in the clubs too😂❤️
Fun fact: In Italian dub, Ichigo is voiced by Android 18's VA (Debora Magnaghi) and François by Vegeta's VA (Gianluca Iacono). Meanwhile in the reboot, Ichigo is voiced by Toru Hagakure's VA (Giulia Maniglio) and François by Kotaro Takebayashi's VA (Loris Bondesan).
On one hand, I may have grown up with 4Kids but again I never really heard of this until I watched a few episodes of this online last week and thought it was fun imo. On the other hand? the part where the narrator (*I know it's Dan Green lol.) said that the Mew Mew team was mixed with the DNA of other animals has sorta gotten myself an idea, if I were to make myself a story about characters with Animals' DNA? I'd probably do it starting with my character trio based on myself and my 2 younger bros and give them the DNA of my three favorite animals a Gorilla,a Cheetor, and a Rhino to reference my favorite show Beast Wars lol. Best idea I ever came up with for myself :)
Unlike what the negative comments think, I usually thought this looks cool even if again some of the 4Kids shows I know were TMNT and Sonic X lol. And y'know what? to tell the truth, I had no shame of that because if growing up with anime on 4Kids,Jetix, and Toonami makes me an enemy to the anime community? so freakin' be it because It's time for me to stand up for myself -_-

this is so crazy, i remember when renting dvd’s were still a thing and id get tokyo mew mew every time and make up my own character or just imitating everyone’s transformations etc
The music/songs are so 2000s and it fits the dub perfectly!! The voices fit the characters better and the dialogue doesn’t feel cartoony like the other 4kids dubs.
This was my childhood anime, especially after purchasing Volume 2 of Tokyo Mew Mew. Years later, I don't know if it will happen, but I planned on making a comic series heavily inspired by this, but with action, graphic scenes, sad death scenes, all while the story plot is also inspired by Batman: The Dark Knight
