Great visuals + great song = Amazing OP Seriously, this is one of the most dynamic visuals in an OP that I've ever seen. And the song is SO catchy. An OP shouldn't be criminally this good.
This op is lackluster compared to a lot of other anime ops. Anime like Nichijou, Made in Abyss and even Sword Art Online have better ops than this. I mean, not saying that this op is bad or anything, i just don't think it's the best.
Well who fucking said it's the best then? I agree with Nichijou and Made in Abyss being good but there's a lot of subjectivity in there. I still find the song here more catchy, and I liked the fast-paced dynamic transitions here more.
Such a very underrated anime, I hope some guy will revolutionize and advertise this anime through this day. The LN is struggling and the sales are kinda low so the hope for S2 is low. So, I hope the fanbase can keep supporting the author of this work for creating such a underrated masterpiece.
I loved Tokyo Ravens. It’s like Irregular at Magic Highschool except without being a power fantasy and each character being just as relevant to the plot as the protagonist. It had so many great characters, S-tier voice actors, great character development, the story was good, romance was well done. Definitely in my top 10 anime.
A moment of silence for the singer Maon Kurosaki that passed away moments before I wrote this post. May us remember her work forever through this song~
My favorite anime OP ever, and honestly also one of the best to me.. and this makes me want to rewatch the anime so bad, I remember this anime was so lit to me 😣 Unfortunately I barely have some free time to enjoy anime now, ugh
I was watching worlds finest assassin opening and remember these visuals for some reason. Only issue with older anime that I watched and loved is that it is pretty brutal on the heart. Makes me want to cry :)
Holy shit I came back here and didnt even realise I commented 7 months ago, anyway wanted to say man I seriously didnt know what I was in for when I first watched this anime. It was seriously ahead of its time.
I will never forget this anime, unfortunately for irony or simply for the misfortune of destiny was not made a second season and ended this with an open end :(
I knew, from the moment I heard this song in 2015 with Tokyo Ravens, I knew that Maon Kurosaki would be chosen to sing the OP of To aru Majutsu no Index... at least one of the two ops! and make no mistake! SHE HAS A PERFECT VOICE FOR THIS KIND OF SERIES!
This great anime got extinct. This opening song still is one of my favs after 10 years of watching Tokyo Ravens. Read one volume after the anime story and realized there is still good amount of story which can be used for new season but sadly it didn't became popular enough to convince producers for second season.
Lyrics: Where I’m standing There’s no turning back No more watching- the world I see- fall apart Can’t wait anymore Now’s the time to start Take a chance though, I know won’t fly Going up! There’s a darkness- flowing inside of your heart Hear the voices call Are they calling for us? Is this hopeless? Time is running out One more wish til the world we see falls apart I’m not giving up Set the world ablaze I can fly through- the hope in my heart’s- Going Up! Never say “what- can I achieve?” - I know now If I try then I know i’ll learn how Pushing me faster This is my life Surely, this is the price - I’ll pay For this feeling I’ll just spread out my wings Til I can’t feel the sound Leave my fears on the ground And soar like the RAVENS! Fight and keep holding on! Face the loop Surely~ This is where we were lost Til I met you Fate is pulling you to me Karma pushing me away Take me away to the future Cause all that I do is for you This pain - weighing me down is growing But somehow I feel my heart’s so much lighter With you by my side- I’ll go anywhere Now’s the time to take off (And) join the RAVENS
The first episode was so confusing to me I dropped it, but then I tried it again later, and now I regret not watching it sooner. We really need a season 2.
