beautiful film! the third girl "introvert" reminded me of my solo trip to japan. The last day I was in Japan, I stayed up all night wondering around in the rain with a clear umbrella as well (they are everywhere) even if I was all alone in another part of the world where no one knew who I was, I felt truly at peace then.

I had a feeling I was watching a cyberpunk movie in Denis Villeneuve's style! It gives a deep diving to the atmosphere even without dialog, but with just pure cinematography, I would like more...

When you were eating while watching another Short Film and you stop eating, you know it's good

The very DEFINITION of "aesthetic". You could play this on a loop in the background forever.

This is such a lovely film, visually and in terms of the story. The cinematography is just as beautiful as always, and even without dialogue it really (at least my opinion) goes hand in hand with the solitude part of the title. Each character, in their own way, is alone. The influence is disconnected from the real world, too attached to her social media (like in this shot 3:19). The familyman is detached from his family and spends his time alone indulging in his addictions. And the introvert just chooses to be alone, and finds peace in that. Thats just how I see this. Great film!

The music alone told a story, let alone your beautiful visuals that we've all come to know and love. Your evolution is evident and I can't wait to see much more of this. Great work, Teemu and team.

Incredible. Every little detail is incredible, from the way the introvert weaves and raises her umbrella to avoid people (I'm guilty of that), to the little flourish of light on the vent at 8:08. Everything is beautiful and purposeful. Amazing work.

Gotta rewatch the movie “Her” after viewing this one. I enjoyed this, I swear short films are there own little thing outside of the traditional feature length films we are all so use to. that’s honestly the charm about them, up at 4am just watching all kinds of shorts from talented people.

This is how you tell a story without words. Well done!

This is beautiful, extremely well pulled off! The atmosphere is truly phenomenal

It's amazing. They were strangers to one another, yet somehow they came across each other in one way or another.

2:27 stood out to me a lot. Your movement goes from head high like a model, to lowering the phone and your head, which really captures that awkward moment people go through getting ready to slug through about 30 pictures of themselves to find the "right" one. Going from the camera-facing personality, to the more anxious reality.

Every frame a painting, as they say. Beautiful work!

The influencer and the family man were sad stories. They showed emptiness. The introvert however showed a nice story. It felt peaceful. Yes, I'm an introvert.

Amazing Cinematography and inspiring use of practical lighting in low light.

This video is absolutely incredible! The cinematography, color grading, and the stunning location all came together brilliantly. It immediately evoked memories of "Enter The Void" for me, especially in the beginning, which I thoroughly enjoyed. And when the music kicked in around the 6:02 mark, featuring the woman standing in front of the vibrant LED banner and the taxi driving towards Tokyo Tower, it gave me goosebumps! The shots were just phenomenal. As a resident of Shibuya, my only critique is why the woman didn't take a right turn towards Shibuya Parco if she was heading to Yoyogi Park? But perhaps she was simply taking a leisurely stroll through Center Gai to take in the scenery? It definitely got me thinking, which is always a good sign! EDIT: Oh, she actually did make a right turn towards Parco after her little smoke break! My apologies xD This all lines up now! I stumbled upon this video on the RU-vid homepage, so I have a feeling it's going to become quite popular in the coming days! Much love to the creators :)

Very beautiful film. The music is also great, it really helps a lot to create this melancholic and calm vibe. What i think is, it would still all work perfectly fine without the names of the chapters, it would probably be even more powerful, more symbolic.

I’ve been living in Japan as an foreigner for 4 years now. I’ve always been more like the introvert and the somehow the family man for the first two years. It’s beautiful to see those feelings captured. However, these solitudes may feel like it’s sad these feelings are the ones that I’m starting to forget. Those feelings are the moments you should treasure and if possible please don’t lose it. It may have feel like you’re alone but it’s not that your alone you’re always always with yourself. That’s why it feels more sad, aesthetic, and emotional. I promise you, you don’t want to lose your ability to feel those feelings. That’s why always remember and treasure it. Please, as a person whose starting to fade and becoming more of a society if you overcome this in your way those feelings make you, you.
