Sakura shrimps are not meant to taste like sakura. They’re actually a species of shrimp that are tiny, translucent pink, and tastes sort of sweet.

@@porcorosso4330 Sakura has a delicate rosey flavor and tends to be used more in seasonal traditional sweets like sakura mochi, yokan, rice crackers, or things like tea and saké. It tends to be used in a pickled form like pickled leaves, pickled petals or blossoms. However, some seasonal snacks do use sakura flavor if it specifically says it uses sakura flavor, whether it’s real or artificial. If it doesn’t say it is sakura-flavored, it’s often cherry or strawberry-flavored or just uses red food coloring or it’s just naturally pink to match the season’s aesthetics, like you said.

Little windows of excitement and joy after a long day of walking. 10:25 Rainy day ramen just hits different in the best way possible! 13:35 Literally a "we have 7-Eleven at home" meme. So sad. It's crazy that it seems like you saw so many places and ate so many new things this go-around, but still feels like there's so much more to be experienced. Hope you make it out there again in the Fall!

They put sakura on many things in spring to market products. Sakura Ebi is one of them. So it does not have sakura flavor to it. It's like catfish. It does not taste like cat at all.

its a nice hotel and all... but 200+ usd per night is a lot of money :( i'm used to staying at hotels that are bigger than that room no gaming equipment ofc for 70$ usd in ginza and asakusa
