I am BEYOND excited for these Asia blogs......eeekkkkkkk. We went to Tokyo Disney in 2023 and Shanghai this past January. We had no issues with water in China and were there for 10 days...used it for water, food and even drank it. IMO food was better in Shanghai, but the folks that go to the park are more western than Japanese-and I think it is the people that really set Tokyo Disney apart from the others. Shanghai itself may be the cleanest and quietest large city I have ever seen. Those EV vehicles are wild when you are in the Bund surrounded by thousands and do not hear the street noise.

What a fun video! That ToyBox suite looked brilliant! :) Having been lucky to also stay at both of these hotels, I agree it's difficult to decide which is better. But ultimately, I'm with Alan and prefer the overall feel and theming of Tokyo Disney's.

It is ridiculous they don’t have trial Disney+ in all Disney accommodations. Maybe people would try it and like it and want to purchase it! It could only help get MORE customers, not to mention make everyone’s stay more enjoyable!

Because of your hotel reviews, all through the roadtrip my family and I are currently on, I have been rating/scoring the beds and hair dryers…..sadly, only one of them have been above a 7😂 But HOLY TOY STORY, LIGHTYEAR! These hotels are absolutely amazing. I don’t know which one I loved more.

FYI Having to pay for the monorail in Tokyo isn’t a Disney thing. It’s actually a law in Japan that forms of transportation like that are required to charge a fee.

Went to Shanghai DL six weeks after it opened and stayed at both the Toy Story hotel and Shanghai DL hotel. Both were great! The Shanghai DL hotel was so beautiful and had very few people staying there. Tokyo is next on my list - hoping to go next fall!!

The fact that Shanghai Disneyland is 8 years old AND they have merch to celebrate is kind of mind blowing to me because I was there in May 2018 (just before their two year anniversary) and received a paper cup celebrating the "Grand Opening" from a quick service location. 😂😂😂

The theme rooms look so cool!! And I was happy for Molly to live her Buzz Lightyear dreams. And recently I got into the Duffy and friends line and they are all so cute along with the other merchandise there. Ever since you went to Tokyo Disney last year I’ve been hoping you could go again, I’ve spent some time in Japan and Tokyo is my favourite Disney, although I’ve never stayed in any of the hotels. One day, but right now I’m putting Tokyo on the back burner for a little bit and exploring some of the other parks worldwide. And now you’ve been to Shanghai as well, I’m happy for you and looking forward to future videos. How did you work out the sleeping arrangements in the end? Molly you are correct, conbini コンビニdoes come from convenience store, but there is no ‘v’ sound in Japanese so when adopting foreign words they use a ‘b’sound instead. Thank you for blurring other people while in the parks in Asia, that shows your conscientiousness and respect of other cultures. Molly you looked so happy, meeting Buzz and Woody, so cute. It’s not old-school Epcot music, it’s new-school Shanghai Toy Story hotel music of course. 😆 I would definitely want to try out the slide puzzle, and the lotto buns for sure. Okay, I need to come to Shanghai, just for the massive Donald. I loved both hotels, thank you for showing us.
