no, i think what syaikh means is that Abu Hurairah took 10 years to understand and accept Islam through his chieftain Tufayl. (Tufayl took 10 years to spread Islam and bring with him 500 peoples to Makkah to embrace Islam.

I'm sure the mashaikh don't need you to be knowledgeable or wealthy as an incentive to visit you. As Sheikh Jangda says in the video above, Muslims call to anybody & everybody. Have patience inshallah and I'm sure such an opportunity could come by in your lifetime.

Why wasn't (ra) said after Tufail? Was he a companion of the prophet or not?

QuranWeekly I need you to answer a question that I have been confused for so long about and can't find an anwer anywhere. Okay so in a hadith it is said "Those who didn't do salat on purpose, is an unbeliever" or something nearly like that. So basically if I didn't pray maghrib because I went to the movies, or was too tired, and die during that state I am destined to go to hell forever because I would be considered an unbeliever?

The name Allah means The God. The God hearing your prayers calling by 'The God' cannot possibility be the wrong one. The cure for waswasa is knowledge and the cure for everything in our chests which is the Quran. No, what I understand, by the means of Tufail, Abu Hurairah accepted Islam. Tufail spend 10 years calling his people for Islam and among his people, there is Abu Hurairah who answered the call.
