they fucked him pritty badly in the battle against chris cole, they made it seem like chris cole landed a trick he actually didn`t and in the end alex lost and they wouldn`t support him any more cause he was in fact an amateur skater who was better than most pros at the time so in their mind he was a threat for their pro contracts...

In 2006 Alex Mizurov beat Chris Cole in an unset and then éS game of skate decided to not let amateurs skate with the pros anymore to prevent further upsets. The second story is how Morgan Smith did a trick at the end, which according to steve Berra he landed cleanly, but the first camera man thought he missed it. So after the game Berra and the camera guy asked if they could refilm it again to make sure they got it. But Alex thought that they were cheating him cause it wasn't clean enough. When Alex asked what happened nobody responded to him via text or email and then Alex sent emails to Steve asking if he could come back next year but Steve never emailed back eventually Alex got pissed and tore Steve apart in Monster Magazine

ThisChannelIsSoDead Steve Berra got into it with Alex, and he banned him from the Berrics. Sucks cause The Berrics is like a monopoly on skateboarding right now, you're nobody until you go through The Berrics. its a long story. They were sort of cold to Alex when he got to the Berrics here in this video, no communication about when he would play who, and Alex had things to do in San Diego and clips to film in Hawaii (this game vs Tom was pushed back a week, and clips from hawaii can be seen here on RU-vid). So anyway Alex was a little cold and douchey to the staff (as he admitted to me on Google+ two years ago when i asked him). Then Morgan Smith had problems getting in from Canada and Alex had to go back to Germany, he also rolled his ankle the night before. they told Alex if he couldnt stay for the battle with Morgan he would just lose his spot in the tournament. Alex thought this wasnt fair since Morgan was the one late, not him. He played Morgan anyway (injured) and lost. Then afterwards to make matters worse there was a little mix up with the filming of Morgan's last trick. Morgan did a fakie inward heel bigspin, alex bailed it.....but while alex was packing the car to leave after the match, Berra told Morgan to refilm it cause *he felt the camera guys didnt get a good angle on it* (i found this out a long time ago when i emailed berra myself) Alex found out about this afterwards through one of his friends who was there with him, and so alex THOUGHT that Berra made Morgan re-do it cause it wasnt clean enough the first time and that he was going to make the new trick look like Morgan landed it cleanly, this means Alex might have gotten a chance to win. So Alex emailed (or texted i dont remember) Berra that night asking about the trick AND if he could schedule to come back soon.... But Berra never responded. Later that month Alex did an interview with German Skate mag "Monster" (i have the article in German if you wanna see it) and Alex sort of bashed on Berra for being biased and kind of a control freak. He said nothing but good things about Koston though. Anyway Berra found out about this interview and since then Alex has no chance of ever getting back to the berrics :-(

As for why he's not on PlanB I don't know I asked him last year but he never responded. Guess I gotta find him on Twitter or something (which I don't have :-p). He's sponsored by Emillion skateboards and he's on the euro Silver and Circa teams officially. He's got some good clips but nothing major. And as for why he's disappeared. I think its just cause of the lack of exposure most Europeans get. Have you noticed how guys like Sewa, Albert Nyberg, etc didn't get any exposure until they appeared in the berrics? Alex should have gone pro long before Sewa, they're actually pretty good friends and Alex beat Sewa at the 2007 Euro game of skate. Also there was a rumor I heard two years ago from some German skater on a RU-vid video that Alex was trying to get into Street league but Berra didn't let him. Don't know if its true.

+Omar Morales Luna Thank you for enlightening us on this story, i understood something pretty similar and was really disappointed about the outcome. Sure, Alex maybe shouldn't have ranted in a magazine about his experience but Berra clearly shows us that he has the mentality of a high school kid. A grown man that can't accept being criticized and letting it behind is just sad. I wish Alex all the best, he was and still is one of my all time favorites!
