Good for you to experience it while still new, clean, and mostly empty! I was able to spend some time in it back in April, north side windows great for plane spotting!
Huge walk. Wouldn't it be depressing once you get to your gate you hear an announcement with your name saying, "Dear Mr. Traveler, please return to the check-in counter. You left your keys." :/
When I arrive at this terminal (KLM) does it have its own passport control? Or do I first have to walk the long way to the TB terminal and go through passport control there?
Thank you for doing this video. It is the best way to get the lay of Terminal B and what to expect. I was having a devil of a time trying to picture how to get there just looking at the LAX map of West Gates. Very confusing on paper and perfect on video. Other videos are simply sales pitches for LAX and the new-ish terminal and not helpful at all. Really appreciate it.
Interesting. Im pretty sure I went through this area last year. And this was flying back into LAX. Leaving LAX, I believe I was in the main terminal B. Didn't realize it was new. Definitely a long walk to terminal B entrance.
The first terminal area with the huge arches roof opened in 2014. The terminal near the end was finished in 2021. And LAWA just broke ground last week to add another extension to the terminal completed in 2021. The add-on should be done by 2025 and add 9 more gates.
😲' OMG!.... It's striking and so huge with the upper level being more like a luxury shopping mall than airport.terminal. I couldn't even afford to ' window shop ' in those high-end stores. "
