This complaint is really about arrested development. This is like that idea about soft times making soft men, and soft men making hard times, etc. What happens is that when children grow into adulthood without maturing, they continue acting as children: they seek pleasure and avoid pain. Thus they appear to be selfish and narcissistic. But what they really are is immature. A mature adult who is capable of being a parent is able to sacrifice - to take pain and put off pleasure - as needed. The younger generations, generalizing here, are unwilling to do this. If something doesn't please them, or if something pains them, they reject it. They won't endure hardship. And they see this as wise, when it's really just being childish.

He literally had rules created to protect him. Brady is the GOAT, dont get me wrong. He's a legend, but hes soft af on the field. Of course he has opinions after retirement lol. He doesn't have to deal with any after-effects.
