@@petersydow4002 Also injuries got in the way. They would've won it all in 2015 if no one got hurt, and they probably go 19-0 in 2017 if Edelman didn't tear his ACL. 2019 too. The receiving core was demolished by the end of the year, and even Tom got a bit banged up. If injuries weren't a concern, that loss to Baltimore probably would've been their only one. Not to mention the 2 other SB losses against the Giants. So you're talking potentially 13(!!) rings if everything lines up.
@@matthewdowling6549 just about right, there is no accounting for billy 's innecessant meddling and kraft's greed that caused more stupid personnel moves by egomaniac.
@@petersydow4002 ouf! this is such cherry picking. If you win the SB 6 times the team owner and the Coach did more right than wrong. were mistakes made? sure. tom made plenty, and other teams too. to talk about how many more they would have won if not due to injury is foolish at best. every team deals with it. maybe they would have won less if other teams also didnt have injury problems. after all, tom only made it to a start in the nfl due to an injury. he won more than anybody else, he and everybody around him deserve praise. nothing else.
@@ye.ha.8378 despite the Tuck rule the Pats dynasty is still impressive and we’ll never see a dynasty like the Patriots ever again. Mahomes and the Chiefs could get close just because Mahomes is just that talented. He won a Super Bowl on a bad ankle so he can clearly play with injuries. But the Chiefs would take at least 3 more rings to get close to the Pats in the next 7 years so Mahomes could have 5 by 35. It took 10 years to get another
It is an easily disprovable myth that Tom Brady "did not have a big arm" or "could not overpower you with his arm". He played most of his career outdoors in the chilly high, gusty New England winds, snow, sleet, driving rain, and even an occasional blizzard -- and threw laser beam after laser beam -- deep balls when he was given deep threat receivers (which was rare), and set many NFL passing records (how about 500 yards in just one Super Bowl game alone against the Eagles). He did more with his arm than Peyton Manning did - who typically had better receivers, and had the advantage of always being in a protected DOME stadium. Brady's ARM won far more games, and far more comebacks, than any other NFL Quarterback to ever play the game in History. His arm was excellent.
@@Chris-rs2bgso Tom Brady is the only quarterback that had a defense that won the super bowl for him. What about Terry Bradshaw in the steel curtain sounds like a defensive team to me. What about Peyton Manning and the Denver broncos in super bowl 50 defense won that game. How about the Baltimore Ravens it was led by their defense. Dallas cowboys of the 90s had a really good defense when they won the Superbowl.
Tom’s game and potential was right there in Michigan for the NFL to see. His pocket presence, his ability to read defenses and make the throws. No crowd was too big, no lights were too bright. His heart and competitive spirit. But as usual the NFL combine blinded the NFL experts.
I love it when John Madden said "what Tom Brady just did gives me goosebumps". That just gave me goosebumps. I thank God and RU-vid Tom Brady will live forever in all the vids we have to watch, especially all the sb games! GOAT GOAT GOAT GOAT!!!!!
Honestly don’t understand NFL scouting. I look at Brady topless and it looks like a guy perfectly made for javelin, fast bowling, or throwing. Long levers, broad shoulders, big hands. Who gives a fuck about 40y dash or vertical leap. Yet more, for QB info processed and decision making is most important, and for that they had his Michigan career
This is awesome because I remember travelling to los Angeles for work in 2012 and watching a retrospective on bradys career on ESPN at that point. Little did we know he had a few more incredible wins in him and a few more Heartbreakers too
high quality footage. people think the early 2000s was all blurry footage. no, it's just because we don't have the high res versions. but you found high-res footage.
It was so cold at that 2004 Divisional Round game vs Titans that the ketchup and mustard was literally frozen into slush as I would always get a hot dog while waiting for the games to start and I even saw peoples beer and hot chocolate spilled on ground legit froze over almost soon as hit the ground, we had to run into the bathrooms every once and a while just to warm up because the heat was working in the bathrooms it was only warm place could go lol God I just can't believe its been 20 years now since that first Super Bowl win and 18 since that frozen game and everything that happened in between... What a ride
Most players can be measured by stats and their physical skill set, a few sportspeople have elements that cannot be measured, once in a generation someone like Brady comes along, given that he barely scraped into the NFL yet became the greatest proves that. Brady, like Diego Maradona can join a team of average players and instantly everyone is playing better, feeding off the 'aura' confidence, belief that one person brings. Tom never got credit through the NE Belecheck years, but proved his metal with Tampa Bay, Maradona likewise with Napoli.
THANK YOU SO MUCH MAGNIFICENT CBO THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE THE INTENSITY THE BUILD UP THE EDITING WITH THE AMAZING MUSIC IN EVERY DIFFERENT SITUATION OMG YOURE DOING GODS WORK GENIUS THX SO MUCH! LOVE SOME BRADY MASTERPIECES!
This is the season a what? Number 6 Dynasty has been born and to matters greater. A team Championship team is born on this game night for 20 years😈😈😈 The Beast of the East. My team 4ever.
I love these vids!! I’ve been watching TB12 since he was drafted.. I have never been invested, as a fan, of the draft or the combine.. but, as a Patriots fan growing up in NE.. I remember thinking when the hell is this team going to get better and how the hell do you do that anyways?? Where are the he people that find the right people and put it all together to make it work… holy shit!! Apparently.. as in life… it takes someone with enough belief in themselves to find someone with enough belief in you and against all the standards and status quo’s… watching TFB do what he’s done in his time as not only made me very happy as a fan but given me conformation that my own belief that I can do what ever I set my heart and mind to if I rise up to make them happen .. and I would think that he has had the effect on a lot of people.. when you look around these days… there are a lot more successful people in he world then from when you hat man first set is foot on a pro level field. Thank you Tom “Fuckin’” Brady!! Can’t wait to see what you do next.
That's guhbah statement. You justuh opened your mouth guhguhgand the noise came out! Thenthenthen you moved your lips and, boom!, we could understand. He was both the worst commentator, and the best commentator.
Drew bledsoe deserves the care anyone else gets from this team and then some. I can't even begin to understand what he went through. If I was Brady he would've gotten something from me every 1st of the month...
The music is unnecessary here, and mixed WAY TOO LOUD, and makes the audio very heard to hear, has nothing to do with the Football games. It totally detracts from this Video (and ruins it) -- which was otherwise mostly great.
Reaction was horrible bellidiot put him back in the game. Then Bledsoe went home after the game and then realized something was very wrong. You can watch the game and see that Drew went back in the game.I saw that game live.
I love the picture at the combine. What the hell does the vertical leap have to do with a quarterback. No one ever mentions Tom Brady was drafted by the Montreal expos as a catcher but yet he's not athletic.
You know, I'm kinda of tired of the Darth Vader comparisons to Brady. To me, it's thrown on him because the people want to make him the villain for being the guy who worked his ass off to get where he is. They can't stand that the guy who none of them wanted bested them at their own game and continues to do so. To me Brady is like Batman or Captain America. He's got that indomitable will like Batman and he's the dark knight of the league willing to wade through all the shit to get the job done. He's like Captain America because nobody wanted the guy he was skinny and unathletic. He was the 6th round 199th draft pick afterthought experiment that turned into the greatest QB anyone has ever seen. The dude is the living embodiment of what happens when you give the underdog his chance. How does that make him the bad guy?
This is brilliant analogy/summary. It boggles my mind how Brady has been vilified when he has earned everything. While Manning was the chosen one who has gotten coaches fired, thrown teammates under the bus verbally and through body language. He has also being given MVPs in 2008/2009 when there were better candidates. 2008(Rivers, Warner, Peterson), 2009(Brees, Favre).
As a lifelong Patriots fan, it's always fun to watch these types of videos, but what was the purpose of showing the segments of the regular season Rams game out of order?
Bradys Teammates are in or going to be in the HOF. Barry Sanders Teammates are working their 2nd Job. Will Brady be inducted before 50? Barry Sanders was inducted in his 30s Was Brady a Pro-Bowler Every Year....NNNOOO. Was Barry?........... F___ YESSSSSSSSS
Bill Belichick should have a picture of mo lewis next to his bed and thank him every night and morning cause without that hit and knocking bledsoe out and forcing Brady into the starter, Belichick would be another 3-4 year coach in new England who got fired for the SECOND time. In 10 seasons WITHOUT Brady Belichick is sub .500 with two playoff appearances and one playoff win. Probably not 7 rings but Brady would have been Brady anywhere he went, while Belichick rode Bradys coat tails to Canton. Defensive "genius" Belichick benches Malcom Butler for the superbowl after starting every game for THREE years straight and let's nick fricken foles put up 41 points ? While Brady threw for 505 yards in a fricken superbowl and for nothing, Brady should of demanded a trade that night. Not to mention the giants Superbowl that Brady got the lead in the 4th quarter and Belichick couldn't stop Eli manning, a .500 career QB, who will be in the Hof based on his name and beating Brady twice in the superbowl, that's it for career accolades. Belichick is getting exposed without Brady, from making Matt dufus Patricia offensive coordinator or trying to trade gronk, the greatest tightend ever to Detroit, not this Detroit, Matt Patricias Detroit and Lucky gronk said "trade me and I retire" and thank God cause gronk went on to help win Superbowl in 2018 and 2020, but he was done in 2017? Just like Belichick wanted to go with Jimmy Glass in 2016ish? I mean Brady went on to win more superbowls in his 40s then Jimmy played full seasons. People seem to forget the early years of teddy bruschi, Willie mcginest, ty law, lawyer Milloy, troy brown, Adam venetari all those early 2000s Patriots legends were all drafted by bill PARCELS not Belichick. I remember new England/ Boston sports before Brady and it was disappointing to say the least, Patriots were the 2nd ticket in town at best to the red soxs who hadn't won in 80something years! Once Brady and pats won in 2001/2002, 6 superbowls, 4 world series, 1 NBA championship and 1 NHL championship. THANK YOU TB12 for making sports around here worth watching. Belichick should use his own philosophy and fire himself a year early rather than 5 years late like he is. The guy who would take a player out of game #16 when they're 1 catch shy of a bonus but he'll hang on going.500 for 4-5 seasons to catch don shuala wins record but Belichick is going to get the all time LOSS record before that win record
Tom Brady was drafted as a catcher by the Montreal expos but Tom Brady wasn't athletic. When Tom Brady played at the University of Michigan Tom Brady had to split game reps with Michigan prodigy son Drew Henson who was drafted at 192nd pick of the 2000 draft.
What's the difference between 20,000 fans that go to watch a practice and videotapes it and the NFL video tapes it and they all put it on the internet but someone from a team isn't allowed to videotape sounds like a double standard you get ice cream you get ice cream you get ice cream but you can't
IMO, mid 80's to mid-late 90's was prime football. They started changing the rules a lot around the late 70's to "make the game more exciting (to spectators.)" It had a good balance between the hardcore early football and the more modern high-flying football. Since then it's just kept getting softer and softer, it's hardly even a full contact sport at this point.
So the NFL out of the blue installed a rule in the middle of a playoff game even though the rule was implemented in 1989 until 2013 and have been called 12 to 15 times a season for a first year player that was drafted in the sixth round and then fix the super bowl so the same player could win because he was a sixth round because the NFL didn't want the St Louis Rams winning back-to-back super bowls. Then in 2014 frame the same sixth round player the NFL has fixed two games for in 2002 playoffs for deflating a football in New England in the dead of winter then suspend that same player in 2016 for something the Nfl had no proof of just a lot of hearsay no pictures no video recordings of anyone ever deflating a football also taken his personal cell phone and releasing all his personal information to the public emails videos voicemails pictures which the NFL had promised that it wouldn't happen. The same player lost 8 million dollars in salary. But yet Ray Rice can assault and knock out his girlfriend in elevator video and suspend him for two games. Then again the NFL let a player get drafted when there were reports that he sexual assaulted medical personnel at the college he attended they never investigated it.
You know the difference between Tom Brady and other great quarterbacks like John Elway Dan Marino Peyton Manning Aaron Rodgers and so on is he was surrounded by clutch players that always made big plays in the biggest games but Brady gets always gets all the credit watch the highlights of all the Super Bowls he won and while granted he's the single most important player because of his position the game-winning plays were almost always made by somebody else
Exactly! "Somebody else"...how many "somebody else"s Brady threw to compared to John Elway Dan Marino Peyton Manning Aaron Rodgers "somebody elses"? Salary cap, roster turnover...salary cap, roster turnover...there's a comon denominator in there somewhere
That's all part of being a quarterback. The difference between good and great, or in this case the great and the goat, has always been how well the TEAM pulls the game together. All those named had better arms than Brady ever had, yet he's still the goat because that's only a small part of being a quarterback, and an even smaller part of being a great quarterback.
