The thing with Brady and his late game comebacks is, his skill and clutch factor is only half of what makes it happen. The other half is his incredible leadership. He has the ability to get his other ten guys on the field beyond fired up, that’s what really makes the magic happen. Like him or not, there no denying his intense competitive drive.
@@adamkarpowich6498 He lead the team with the lowest win percentage of all 4 major sports to a superbowl in his first year. He proved that HE is the system.
@@hypnos2794 Do we really think Tampa Bay was not a supremely talented team? They won 7 games with a guy putting up historic turnover numbers and lost 4 very close games. Not to mention they added a ton of talent that wasn’t there the year before.
@@jamesjones6069 because Brady recruited them... Gronk, AB, and Fournette don't come to the bucs without Brady being there and the bucs woulda been another team watching the playoffs from home.
@@jamesjones6069 If you look at the NFL and how team have functioned in the past couple of decades every team has talent for the most part. Great players make it to the league and they don't do well at all and leave with nothing to show their grandkids all the time. It just shows how competitive it is. People will always drift towards QB and receivers and running backs to look at because they touch the ball more than everyone else and for that reason they have more influence on the outcome of the game but the best person for each of those positions in the league could all be on the same team and have a losing record pretty easily. Coaches are meant to wield the skills of their team in the most efficient manner and then we look at why a team is successful and there's usually a lot to decipher. Tampa bay wasn't successful and they had talent but the coach couldn't wield it in such a way that would've made them a Super Bowl contender by any means. Plays here and there win games here and there but it also loses when there's no consistency. Then you bring in somebody like Brady. Without a pre season, on a new team, with a totally different style of coach... he wielded his offense better than his offenses on the patriots once he got his rhythm. He wanted weapons and he had them. Thats all cool and dandy but look at every single player on the roster that was playing and compare their success to previous years. Not the players touching the ball that would've obviously had better stats with a better qb but the offensive line or defense in general. One game they had so many penalties and then after that they stopped getting penalties! Stuff like that was the fuel to the fire in most of the Brady vs bel arguments because Brady did to the Bucs what we thought bel did to the patriots all those years. I happen to think (and the Bucs vs patriots game this year hints at it) bel deserves his credit and Brady learned a lot from being in New England enough so he could turn Bucs into a top team when they were kinda talented but no direction
Honestly, you could split Tom's career into TWO separate timespans (2001-2007 and 2009-present) and fucking BOTH of them would be eligible for the Hall of Fame. Some have even made the argument for THREE separate spans (2001-2007, 2007-2014 and 2014-present if he plays a couple more good years). Fucking insane.
Nine Super Bowls is one thing. He did it over almost 20 years in yhe same conference as Manning's Colts-Broncos teams, Ray Lewis' Ravens, Polamalu's Steelers, and LTs Chargers. Regardless of who his receivers are, or how effective the running game is, he finds a way. He's had great defenses. He's had bad ones. He's won shootouts and qb duels. He's won low scoring yawnfests.
“HARDER, TOUGHER, EVERYTHING WEVE GOT” I truly don’t think there’s ever been a more inspirational person in the world of sports. I’m a die hard fan of EVERY sport but there’s just something else about Patriot football. Some of The most electric, awe-inspiring, incredible sports moments in my lifetime. We will probably never see this ever again. cherish it folks. Truly going to cry when he retires and I feel absolutely no shame in admitting that. Truly incredible. Nice job @magnificent Cbo. This video is a masterpiece in its own right

Ναζωραῖος Tom Brady is a check down system QB, we all know that. Similar to Montana, the rings make those two the goats. Guys like Peyton Manning, John Elway, Rodgers, Favre are the system.
I don't know that they were born against Tom. They held the Cowboys to 7 points in week 2 (Romo 1-1 with a passer rating of 74.1 and a fumble off the lone sack), the Packers to 12 points in week 3 in the Fail Mary Monday Night Game (Rodgers 0-0 with a passer rating of 81.5 and 8 sacks), and the (admittedly inconsistent) Panthers to 12 points in week 5 (Newton 0-0 with just 141 yards and a passer rating of 56.8 and 4 sacks with a fumble lost) Beating the Patriots at home in a horridly officiated game was still impressive, but Brady having to throw 58 times was a disaster (he had to throw 50 times in the Super Bowl against them, he's one of few who can pull that sort of work load off with any consistency). Despite the two picks, the Pats offence drove the ball downfield efficiently and left a lot of points on the board, while the D wasn't particularly good. The picks were really unforced mistakes, and with an intentional grounding penalty at the end of the first half, the Pats left 9-17 points on the board and still only lost with the barest of margins on the road to one of the toughest home teams in the league. It left a bitter taste at the time, but as we saw in the playoffs the team had a lot of holes.
The Legion of Boom made the mistake thinking they would destroy Brady like they did Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl. Big mistake as Brady is a whole nother level above Peyton. Seahawks never recovered from Brady.
I know I may never get to see Brady and the Patriots win another superbowl.... so I say this....IT HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO BE A PART OF THIS...PATS FAN FOREVER
@@jamesjones6069 What's a system QB anyway? No one even knows what the fuck that means. You have to execute and play on the field no matter what. This is where Tom Brady shines like no one else. No one from any era comes even remotely close. 9 SBs!! 6 wins!! 8 consecutive AFCCGs. Changing team every year. Insane. He's the best.
fxp It means he is a great game manager. He isn’t as talented as Rodgers or Manning but he’s extremely smart and takes the check downs and trusts his Goat coach to handle the defense and game plans.
@@jamesjones6069 Ahahahahaha... "he isn't as talented as Rodgers or Manning". Epic bullshit of the century. Aaron nor Peyton are even in the same league as Brady. Brady is the GOAT. Aaron is just another QB. Peyton is definitely way better than Aaron but he's still no Brady. I mean, it's insane how epic Brady truly is - both on field and off field as a regular person. His aura seems divine and regal. These guys are peons in comparison. And especially Rodgers - he's a decent QB but nothing like Brady. It's insulting to even compare the two.
I'm English and watched my first ever game when visiting friends in Nashville. That game was the superbowl Patriots v Falcons. Now I'm hooked and can't wait for the season to start. Let's go Pats 👌🏼
appreciate your insights, Big Phil: NFL may not 'translate' easily to cultures outside N. America, but you're living proof of its global allure. hope your fandom is rewarded with another NE Lombardi this season! cheers Bruv
I'm so sadden about his retirement 4 years from now... I honestly don't know how passionate I would be about football when he's done. I am from Atlanta, when Vick was a big deal here, it lead me to start watching football... I did not know who the hell Brady was or who the pats were at that time. I remember watching some random teams playing, "pats was one of them" and remembered how amazing they were and how they scored with ease and it was just the most amazing thing to watch! I instantly became a fan, not knowing that they had recently won 3 superbowls, I was a super fan for the entire stretch that they didn't win any more rings, thru both loses to the giants, and the recent 3 rings... I am more of a patriots and Brady fan than I am a football fan... So idk what to do about football once he's out! PS, being from Atlanta, that 5th ring Brady won was such bitter sweet for me, I wanted Matt Ryan to have a ring too!
@Van Dang - Great comment. I feel the same. Brady still looks as good as ever but old age is undefeated. No one can play forever so we just gotta enjoy whatever he’s got left. There may be a bit more greatness yet to come...
ik this comment is 2 years old but gotta ping you to say Brady aint retiring LOL. he's more comfortable on the Bucs because their play style is more offensive oriented with risksy plays which suits Brady because he will get those plays done at a higher percentage than anybody else. he's comfortable because he was a stack of weapons to use. he's comfortable with the warm weather and out of New England. no drama etc. my prediction is he's gonna lose in the playoffs or maybe the superbowl and reflect on the season. he'll realize if he hasn't already that the Bucs are actually probably the best team for him to be with if he wants to keep playing. he'll get a ring for every finger tbh
@@malcomtodd2937 Ik sad. He retired having the best qb stats in the league. Probably upset w his coaches calls in his last game it should’ve been another heroic comeback if not for those mistakes. And Giselle. He once said he’d retire when he thought he couldn’t win another Super Bowl and he retired still on top and would’ve been a super bowl contender for at least another year so I guess his priorities shifted
@Patriotic American heck yeah Mike Ditka, Vince Lombardi, Don Shula, Tom Landry, just recently Jimmy Johnson, Bill Cowher, Bill Walsh, and Bill Parcells are all hall of fame coaches
Do you know when you have achieved greatness? When your peers tell you so. When they admire you. When they are inspired by you. When they are in awe of you. That is greatness achieved; and It is greatness personified! Btw, awesome job with the video.
Brady is the best ever no matter what team he plays for and I'm a die hard fan of the new england patriots but I wish tom the best in is life. Thank you Tom Brady for what you did for the patriots.
As a lifelong Patriots fan, but more importantly, a lifelong **FOOTBALL** fan, I have to say that the Mario Manningham catch **WAS NOT** luck. That was an UNBELIEVABLY talented receiver hauling in a catch from the only spot his QB could have thrown it to avoid an interception. One of Eli's rare excellent-instead-of-lucky throws. That one I will concede. Manningham deserves every bit of credit for that one.
Helluva game by the Patriots. Tom Brady, MVP. James White was awesome. All the offense, defense, special teams, coaches, etc.. All in all, the best comeback and first ever overtime in an NFL Superbowl. #6 vs Rams. Then #7 with the Bucs, throwing 3 TD's, 1 running TD by Fournette. Tom Brady the Bucs defeating mahomes chiefs soundly in the Superbowl. After Brady left New England, the Patriots weren't able to have much success. Goes to show ya how important QB leadership and team chemistry really is.
I wish he wins three in a row to end his career at 45! He is such an inspiration to the young generation (i am also in that) who imo are plain out super lazy 😄
I'm a 49ers fan and I hate that the Pat's always win but when you have the best coach and the best qb it's what is gonna happen and I'm so glad that I have got to watch it happen those two guys are just amazing and it's sad all the people who just hate him cuz they win they have earned and worked for it all and I hope they keep going just to piss more people off the only time I want them to lose is if they play the 49ers
Butler should have been out there for SB 52. Whatever the issues were, this was the guy you went with for the entire year. This cost them the game in my opinion. it's ironic Brady's best SB performance wounded up in a lost.
your post is the sports equivalent of a low-information voter's post-election commentary: unenlightened, simplistic, and based purely on (untenable) opinion. if NE had won SB LII, you'd be touting the scathing coaching acumen of BB. in any event--since you either didn't bother to read them, chose to ignore them, or didn't understand them--here are key stats from Butler's abjectly mediocre '17 season, stats which any reasonable, thinking football fan would consider solid grounds for benching MB during the big game: 1] Butler's INTs, yds/INT, passes defensed, fumbles recovered, and total combined tackles all DECLINED in 2017 compared to 2016 (and for most stats, 2015 as well); 2] Butler ranked 51st among CBs in 2017 (compared to 5th in 2016 & 18th in 2015. FIFTY-FREAKIN-FIRST. in other words, he blew rhino butt; 3] MB surrendered 6 TDs in coverage (an egregious number) during 2017 season--along with nearly 700 passing yds (233 of which were YAC, 'earning' MB a puke-worthy 108th ranking in this category among qualifying CBs that season). Butler had also been publicly mouthy about his contract gripes with NE, whose brass had offered the CB a more than fair contract before the season started (only to have Butler--who stupidly chose to go 'all in' with his hare-brained agent--reject the offer). Want to go for broke on your inane "this cost them the game" fantasy, and see how Butler fared during his first season in TENN? suffice it to say that the Titans will have 61 million reasons to regret signing this CB, a once credible contributor to the secondary who had 2.5 decent seasons + an unforgettable SB play in him, but nothing else
I just hate all the vitriol about Butler not playing in SB52. Face it, he broke a Patriot rule and BB wasn't going to let that go. NO MATTER THE COST! Character, integrity, and loyalty in that organization. The best in sports history. GO PATS!!!
If they go the the AFC championship game this year it will be their 10th STRAIGHT F'N APPEARANCE IN THAT GAME. What he and Bill have accomplished just seems completely impossible yet here we are. Unreal.
Amazing how one can go from "the G.O.A.T." to all washed up (per the media). Folks...you have witnessed the greatest QB to ever play the game the past 20 years and there will be no one else for some time to come. Electric when he started...Electric when he is finished...THANK YOU TOM BRADY FOR THE MEMORIES!!!
Absolutely Love This! Incredibly Done. Must've spent a lot of energy putting this together. Sharing this with my friends. Love It! Thank You For Uploading This.
My question is once Brady does retire or leave the sport, will New England ever be the same? I don't think so. You are witnessing something you will never ever see again in your lifetime. Enjoy it. Don't hate it.
Would have to lay up on Belichick. If he finds himself another qb who is willing to be molded then maybe. But one thing is for sure. There will never be another qb who went from being pick 199 to bring the goat.
@@carloshinojosa4351 A guy that is average by NFL standards,, but plays with the six inches between his ears more than anything else. James Mattis told his Marines that is what defined a good Marine and a warrior Marine. Those six inches between their ears. Being good isn't enough being smart wins wars, it kills your enemies and you stay alive.. Brady and Belicheck get that, the rest of the NFL chases physical talent, the Patriots chase average guys with big brains and who think like really good soldiers. "Do Your Job", is no different than cover your sector of fire, not really. That thought process is transferrable, and only Nick Foles and Patrick Mahomes today really play like that, especially Mahomes. When the Patriots finally fall it will be to the Chiefs, because they alone have a similar system and a similar QB, then we will get sick of the Chiefs,
Ray Rice probably the second best defensive player in the NFL of all time and likely the best defensive Captain of all time feared Brady not for his talent. But Brady's mind and work ethic were terrifying things. You better be clickin playing watch your guys look at their faults because you know Brady is. Know yourself know your enemy Sun TZU that is how Brady and Rice played.
@@johnmacleod9507 I believe, you meant to say Ray Lewis. Easy enough mistake since Ray Rice played for the Ravens as their running back around the same time Ray Lewis did. Just edit your comment, no harm no foul.
Only cliff brady will fall off will be a pile of lombardi trophies and said down by all those heavy rings I miss you man but still love watching you play with so much ❤️
Imagine this. It’s tom Brady’s 2nd to last Super Bowl. The team is undefeated. Somehow greenbay gets good like the glory days, monster offense and defense. It’s Rodgers vs Brady. Rodgers wins. Brady doesn’t retire. Next year it’s packers vs pats. Brady dives for the winning touchdown in overtime. Brady retires being the only qb with 10 Super Bowl rings. Inducted into hall of fame that following year.
Amazing video well made. Tom Brady ill miss you. Even though your no longer wearing a patriot Jersey. The patriot way runs in your veins and you’re legacy is forever tide to New England. With that said, Only game I ever want to see you lose is when the Buccaneers play the Patriots in the superbowl and Bellicheck picks your ass a part he know your weaknesses he know your strengths and although you were my hero I am a patriots fan with or without you.
Woody Said it, TB12 is THEEE BADDEST MAN throwing a football. He is the most feared player. I don't wanna hear Mahomes this and that and rogers...... naaa bruh.
idk what it is about SB52, but I can see it in my head, Brady driving down and winning that game. Sad it didn't happen and that game still fu**ing haunts me. But, yet another nut of a video brother! Can't wait for part 7 of the Brady series to drop next spring
What position? You never know by the time you leave College and if you get drafted by the NFL in the next 3 years, Brady will probably still be playing and you might meet him on the football field.
I'm just surprised at this point in time in 2019, that people are still trying to argue that one, Brady cheated by deflating the balls, and two that he's still in't the greatest quarterback of all time......i'm just like okay.......
that deflate-gate was a setup there is a video on you tube by a university professor explaining exactly what happened with the balls according to science and there is no way Brady did anything wrong
Tom is my favorite player by far, but I really wish people would give more credit to the other players. Edelman and Gronk have been huge for him. Malcolm Butler literally won the superbowl for them. They've had quite a few LBs throughout the years who have taped together sketchy defenses. McCourty and Chung. Like these "other" players really deserve more credit. Yes Brady has been there every time, but he isn't doing it alone.
Yeah that has always bothered me a bit, Brady said flat out James White was best player on the field in SB 51. I think they play that hard because Brady plays that hard. Brady is a walking talking cliché, yet he believes everything he says in his heart, people step up for that they play harder for him. I don't think Brady is their best player, he is their best leader on the field, sports casters have trouble with leadership they see results of leadership but don't know how to define it.
