So gracious of Brady to give Dan a little extra time and not rush out of there. Then those kind words at the end. Amazing character!

@@krumbleme2 There's no correlation between what an offensive coordinator did and what Brady accomplished.. It's irrelevant because no matter what the circumstances that led to Brady getting the ball and putting up over 200 yards passing in the 4th quarter Brady still had to execute and put points on the board.. It was Brady who had to convert 2-2 points conversions in the 4th quarter to tie the game (28-26 Atlanta) with under a minute left..

@@krumbleme2 there is no other quarterback who ever played who could have kept his composure and pull off what Brady did the way he did it. You can blame everyone else but there’s a reason this man has 35 playoff wins and 7 rings, and it ain’t Belichick

Your lost to NE was a slow death. The Seattle fans nightmare was quick, like a guillotine. I used to hate Brady and the Patriots until I realized I was witnessing sports history. And unfortunately for you, that comeback against the Falcons has to be in the top 10 best football games in NFL history.

this guy looks better at 44 than he did when he was 22. it's just odd and amazing. more amazing is incredible level at which he prepares and plays football. FUN FACT: A few games into this season, Tom Brady will achieve 100,000 career passing yards regular + postseason combined. Imagine between regular and postseason, a rookie QB goes out and throws 5,000 yards this year. And you then inform him "Son, you have to do that 19 more years in a row to catch Brady". Unreal.

It struck me that Tom is not just older, but is in a different phase of his life (speaking of personality, loosening up, having fun, etc.) and it's not because he's away from Bill. The timing of it all was based upon his own personal changes and starting a new life in FL was just part of it. He would have loosened up if he had stayed in NE because it was inevitable. Bill has loosened up too. Social media has exerted itself and nobody is going to turn back the clock to the Chuck Noll years.

It starts at home. It's obvious that TB12 was raised in a caring, loving family that emphasized education and treating people right. Sports was a reward for doing all of the other things well. As a Lifelong Wolverine fan I 1st started paying attention to TB12 when he replaced the overrated Drew Henson in a Bowl game against Alabama. It was a small sample size but I bet a couple of NFL coaches and scouts saw that game too. How he dropped to the 6th round, Detroit is 30 minutes from The University of Michigan and one would think that a Lions scout would damn near stay on campus,, is beyond me. I think that back then, and probably even now, scouts just go by the " measuremables" and look for all the wrong sht. I look forward to seeing him in the booth on Sundays. Should have stayed retired.

Teams weren't and probably still not as well staffed as we the public like to believe. Just because the owners are billionaires doesn't mean they are eager to lavish pay and expenses on "support" staff. I believe scouts and junior assistants are still stretched thin and make peanuts working in the NFL compared to comparable positions else where. There were no internet databases and stuff so someone had to hike up or call up Michigan to get intel on TB. Considering he was never projected to be high, it's easy to imagine most teams never even bothered. And all those coaches and scouts that claimed they scouted him or knew what he could be were almost certainly lying or projecting what they wished they did, but in fact didn't do.

@@reddz.k.4404 You can't exactly say that they all lied. At least 2 coaches were all in on Brady. Everybody probably know by now why the Patriots didn't pick him until the 6th round. Their QB room wasn't really looking to adding another one. But their QB coach believed in Brady and that was why they had him on their radar. Aside from Rehbein, the Chargers coach then had a long scouting run with Brady. He'd been scouting him since hs. As the story goes, 'Brady was always the big one who got away from Mike Riley'. His problem was, someone with more power to pick didn't get to see what he saw.

@@reddz.k.4404 Brady also got drafted by a team that was built pretty good for the most part, they had young unproven recievers, but troy brown was good so those guys could learn a bit from him, and the defense was great so brady wasnt asked to do too much, it really was the perfect system for him to go to and really just ease into becoming the qb he is today, it really was just a great thing that happened for both teams. idk if he couldve been that great on another team, maybe eventually, but a horrible team would have lost patience if he didnt play as well as he did on a patriots team ready to win, ya know?

@@polpol1005 Which QB doesn't get too much credit for team success? What makes Brady great is his ability to manage relationships, consistency, leadership, and step up when it matters. Most guys in the NFL are talented. So it's the intangibles that often make the difference. You don't win as much as he has by luck. He took advantage of every opportunity in his life. How many people of any stripe or situation can say the same thing?
@polpol1005

@@scratchpenny Which QB doesn't get much credit? I'd say Rams QB Stattford for instance. In that match Rams-Bucs Stafford simply outplayed Brady. If Brady would’ve done what stafford did we’d never hear the end of it, but because it wasn't Brady, the media didn't give him much credit.
@scratchpenny
@scratchpenny 2 года назад
@@polpol1005 Fair point, but it's a different media status level between those two. Stafford, while always being good, does not have the consistent success or league status of someone like Brady. The truth is no one in the league has his status - he's the MJ of football from a marketing/media perspective. So much of what you're complaining about has to do with the media using popularity and status to drive their ratings. There is a reason that all these sports networks consistently talk about Brady and LeBron - they are incredibly popular and drive engagement numbers that other sports stars cannot. The same was true of MJ and Tiger Woods back in their times. So the media mythologizes these figures to absurd levels. But that doesn't mean Brady isn't a great QB. Objectively, he is. And the stats, longevity, winning, and even his relationships are a testament to that.

@Julian Brady's the most accomplished, the best, most decorated and most successful QB of all time. Idgaf about who the most talented is. That's idiotic bc if you're an NFL starting QB, then you're obviously extremely talented. It's a "QB driven league." It's about clutch play, being a great leader, making your teammates better, and putting your team in the best possible position to win games and ultimately winning games. And nobody has done that better or more consistently and for as long as Brady has and that's just another reason along with a slew of others why he's the real 🐐 at the QB position. You disagree? Go argue with your mom 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

He's the goat farmer because he's suck in football 😂😂 . On that draft day the 49ers had a chance to pick Brady but they picked carmazzi and they cut him the next season 😂😂😂

Good Luck catching Montana in todays salary cap era .. And Mahomes game is based off of evasive speed and eluding defensive players - those 27 year old legs get old quick while everyone else's get younger.. And pal Brady has long long surpassed Montana for GOAT status ... On 4th quarter playoff comeback wins alone Brady has more *18* than 2nd all time in playoff wins Montana has victory's At age 38 Montana was one and done in a Wild card game into retirement At age 39 Brady was a SB MVP/ Age 40 a league MVP and at age 41 threw for a SB record 505 yards.. do I have to get into what he's done after 41?
