I'm loving the touch of Louis having yellow eyes, it tells you he's some eldritch being without even having animated that part of the song! Also, the motion is so clear and fluid! The emotions are super visible too
also the humans have round pupils/irises and in addition to having yellow sclera, Louis has vertical lines for pupils (I'm assuming to suggest slitted pupils like a cat's.) Nice touch.
As tom cardy himself said this is a really awesome animation I actually have a dnd character who has Eldrich possessed glasses so ive always loved this idea
@@bazzfromthebackground3696 have fun! Mine was possessed by the spirit of a lovecraftian being who inexplicably loved antiques so she would steal them any chance she got
Aaa you make such an innocuous smile so ominous with how it's first seen as part of a silhouette, carved out of negative space that imbues it with a very effective sense of "wrongness." Top notch.
This rules! Your poses feel so expressive and bouncy. (Also: I feel like gravity falls is one of those series that leaves a permanent visible mark on artists who watched it. like homestuck.)
THIS IS EVERYTHING I COULD HAVE ASKED FOR A VIDEO FOR THIS AND MORE THE CHARACTERS, THE SCENES, THE EXECUTION OMFG im so incredibly happy because of this now. not even joking. this made my day. thank you a lot.
I'm so glad that someone decided to animate this song! It was a very pleasant suprise to se this pop up in my recommendation. The animation really captures the best parts of the song. It really ads to the song, ya' know? Amazingly done!
Dude this is criminally underrated! I love so much about this video. The entire start sequence is really well put together, the BBC transition is awesome, I love the bouncy speaking animations, the synced eye flash at 1:04 is such a neat touch, and the pupil narrowing at the end is super clean. I genuinely love your animation style. I really hope more people notice these videos as well; they're incredible and I would love to see more!
This was so well executed! I loved the way the animation felt fluid, yet very snappy/punchy. The amount of emotion expressed was absolutely phenomenal. Great job!
It’s probably just the yellow glasses and long pupils, but this version of Louis Theroux feels like a nicer Bill Cipher. Like yeah he’s a brain demon that wants full control, but like, at least he’s helping you with conflict resolution
