Great start to season two Kenan. Watched episode two already but thought I'd drop a comment here. Crutchfield truly is a legend, and despite all the negativity that is sometimes brought up when his name is mentioned - our hobby/industry would not be what it is today. I gained much of my care and knowledge for Cyclura from David Blair and Crutchfield combined after many conversations over the phone. I'll be tuning in here now that you'll only be posting here. Should be uploading a new video today and I'll make sure to drop you a shoutout - hopefully send some of my subs that haven't subbed to you already over. Keep the vids coming, live easy.
I interviewed Mr. Crutchfield on my show a few weeks ago he is a great guy and has a ton of knowledge. And your show was awesome can't wait for the next one .
Tom is a great guy super nice if any one has to say something bad about him they are just jealous of what he has done and accomplish in the reptile industry. He did what he did because it was ok back then and they really did not have laws and regulations and he took advantage. You can thank him for bringing stuff in that you probably would never be able to have if it wasn't for him. Truly a great guy he should not be looked down on or hated for what he did. He should be praised for all the conservation and good things he has brought to the reptile industry and bringing animals back from extinction.
Not true at all, there were laws because he broke them and was prosecuted 3 times. And smuggling endangered species is the opposite of bringing them back from extinction - it's driving them towards it
yes he is legendary,,,he spent several years in prison for smuggling into the US all kinds of venomous snakes,,,he is a felon,,,,watch,,"locked up abroad" he has his own show,,,,he would fly down to carribean and smuggle venomous snakes onto the plane in his back pack,,,,knowing all along if anyone looked in the pack, they would have been bitten by a cobra,,,,,thts what he brought a cobra into US, in a backpack,,,,,,he is an idiot,,,and yet all these jr venomous freehandling idiots think he is a saint,,,,,,,bs,,,he could care less about anyone getting bitten while he ran his smuggling enterprise,,,,,yea,,he is legendary alright,,,a real creep 1
Can you do some more videos with tom. The combination of both of you is amazing and greatly interesting as you both have different information to share
Awesome video Kenan. Great start to season two. (I'M SO EXCITED FOR SEASON TWO!) *Ahem* I'm really thinking about getting an exotic pet, but I'm petrified of snakes. A tortoise would be really cool, but don't worry, I'm doing lots of research and watching lots of your videos. Lol. Hope all is well. Cheers
I am amazed I'm from New Jersey I've never seen a venomous snake or any of these animals you have here upfront maybe a couple thank you I'm very anxious to check out this channel
i hate how people judge him on things he has done in the past, he has really help the reptile community and has done much conservation he is a true hero
I wish tom and Christine would post on youtube i know its alot hes a busy guy but to hear from his first hand knowledge and experiences is always so neat and christines such a diamond in the rough we dont see many female ambassadors of venomous and shes juat a badbitch with it all i love her. I agree with alot of people a book from him would just be absolutely epic.
You are literally the legend of almost every single herper that I subscribed to and I dead ass just realized that I fuckinggggggg dead ass didn't subscribed to his page
People can say what they want, Tom is amazing. Everyone makes what some call mistakes, and some call them a learning experience. Keep doing what you do Tom, improving what you can. Thanks for sharing with us Kenan, and doing the great things you do for animals. Thank you both

***** I agree with Brandon. I want to see ABTV succeed and this was one of the best shows on there. Glad you are still making episodes, but sad to see you leave ABTV
Buddy I love this and I have a story ...I remember when I was a teen my neighbors and mewe found one of those small dark snakes by turning a rock and that sparked my interest in reptiles
Kenan I got a sulcata tortoise 25 days ago what are some tips to take care of him or her. I have him or her in a 40 gallon breeder tank and one more think lately he or her has be getting a lot of white stuff around his or her eyes is that some type of disease or something like that?
Charl Ann McKneely That tortoise is going to get huge, well over 100lbs. I hope you understand that it will outgrow that tank in a couple of years and require a backyard size enclosure.
I recently bought a baby rhino iguana from tom and I was very pleased with it. I thank tom for all work he has done. I will buy an albino iguana from him within the next 2 years also
That guy Tom to me seems like more of an animal lover than the Peta ppl. I do believe that he probably knows more about those animals than a person who has a degree and it is because he has actually been working with them and watching them studying and learning from that experience. Seems more of an animal hero than most. Kinda like one of those biblical people who did crazy things but then took all that experience and turned it into a learning experience for me and everyone else. Thanks Tom for your time and help with everything!
I think captive breeding is ethical depending on the people. Tom may made legal mistake in the past. I hope that he does continue what he does; at the same time, I hope he also complies with the wildlife law.

***** Now that you're on your own, I feel more confident asking you if you'd do an episode specifically about US-native turtles, the native animals and plants they benefit from, and about their habitats. Native animals mean a lot to me and its rare for shows to focus on them. Its nice learning about what's in our own backyard sometimes.
He talks about not taking animals from the wild, yet his company advertises numerous wild collected venomous snakes. Some of which come from known localities where over collecting had had a huge impact on the population. You can't cure greed.
Sooo did no one else notice the iguana at the very beginning that had the top half of his jaw just mangled? At about 10 seconds seriously that iguana needs some serious help.
He doesn't care what others think, but claims to love reptiles. He is a infamous character and people seem to love this geezer, for what?! Just because he was first at breeding a few reptiles? Celebrity criminal like Manson, just not as cool.
