After working with some my animals I've found if u don't think just do kinda like shutting ur mind off and going autopilot they can't detect ur ill intent to capture them or what ever it is u need ta do ya it's hard to do that part but it works as they pick up on our pharamones much easier and that tells them just what we're up to
Wow, that pond is wayyy deeper than I expected! Those are extremely happy turtles to have that area. I am curious if the snappers will breed. Just fascinating! Their eggs seem like they would be a really good size.

I’m surprised there’s no naturally occurring foliage (water plants; waterlilies, water hyacinth, reeds, cattails, etc) in that pond. I don’t recall there ever being any, even before the turtles were added, I wonder why, it is Florida, after all. 🤔
Hahahaha, that root battle was funny 😂 20:03 I know you probably dont have to give the machine back for a while, but BOY do you beed to get your own. Would be cool to have Kamp and slinky stickers on it, heehee 😊💜🦖
I think it's best for the turtle to do what you concluded, house him with others of his species. Something for those complaining about housing with slinky: slinky is a meat eater. Why is this tortoises life more important then Slinky's food outside of monteray value and cultural associations of turtles? The turtle was 'free' for Kenan, he didn't know it existed. Him putting it with slinky as cleanup is not much differences then isopods as cleanup crew for a creature they may snack on them, outside of turtles likely being more intelligent then isopods? If he had decided to house the turtle there, it'd help maintain slinky's enclosure. Maybe it also add some enrichment for being something slinky could engage with. As a turtle, it can hide and protect itself, so guessing would nit be in continuous stress in such a large enclosure. It hid itself for years. However, for a somewhat social species, a lone turtle does not seen ideal for cleanup crew . But he's is cute and it's cool he gets to go live with some companions. It just frustrates me how hypocritical we'll tend to be about life, valuing some life over other for fairly arbitrary reasons, then using that to make angry comments
As always it's awesome to get to see the turtles in your ponds. I hope that you enjoy your birthday with all of your family and friends. I hope to be half as cool as you when I am 50.
Gator Snappers are my faves! Now don't get me wrong,I love, love, love Large Marge as a unique character, but in general, I favour Gator Snappers over common snappers, aesthetically-wisr.What a beautiful big lady this one was today, and feisty too.Well wrangled Kenan! It's great to see her thriving so well! Thank you for the video.👍🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️🐊🐊🐊
How do you keep them so clean. My sulcata substrate is an organic mixture. He gets so dirty with his little butt dragging through it. I feed him organic spring mix everyday with a sometime mixtures of goodies every other week. His face gets disgustingly green and I use a brush toothpick to try and clean his face but he doesn’t like it. I can’t seem to get him 100% clean during his baths especially on the back part where his tail is in his shell. He is about 2 yrs old and still don’t like to bathe. Yours look so clean that is why I am asking how do you do it. Don’t need negative feedback but positive suggestions and support are welcome. Thx.
