I bought this, and when i first put it on, I didn't much like it and left it in the closet for a couple of months. After listening to you, I decided to give it another try. Yip, it definitely does have a great dry down and is a bad ass bad boy scent. Thanks for your review and my awakening.
I love my Ombré Leather EDP, this Parfum version smells to me (only cause I experiment with layering my fragrances here and there) “ Black Orchid” layered with “Tuscan Leather”, and that mix is Bombastic! I got my 100ml bottle on Monday and obsessed with this Parfum! Tom Ford is the king of Leather Fragrances…Nuff Said. 😎
At first it reminded me of older women at church with the big flamingo hat and the matching purse. But after smelling it for a few hours, it hit me... This is a perfect blend. I have the all black bottle. EDP. If youre a fragrance guy, get this one in your fragrance library.
I know you said this is a manly scent but I’m obsessed with wearing it myself! Hated it at first and then the same wear I changed my mind and couldn’t get enough. Wearing it all year round!
I’m female, and I have both of those and love them. I don’t like the typical female scents. On me Ombré leather smells quite feminine. Don’t be scared of this ladies!
I really hope to like this one. I have the original, and to me (on my skin) is a beastly sweet cardamom overdose after the opening. It's too much for me, and it covers everything else, but I like the overall DNA. Problem is i have to finish my 100ml bottle before pulling the trigger with this one (if it is, as I hope, more up my alley).
I’ve been wearing this one since it was released publicly in 18, I get nothing but compliments both male and female especially in the winter time this is my go to winter daily wear
Got the 2018 edp and just copped the Parfum today. Both excellent. Have that let me get in your neck-ism about them. Not loud at all. For those who need to come in with a bang, these aren’t it. These are more tame, for more of a confident person. The Parfum differs from the EDP with the floral notes but depending on the individual’s chemistry it may or may not be bouquet heavy. It isn’t that way on me. I’ve read where some say it’s a good year round option, and I would agree. Powdery? Not so much but that’s my nose. Definitely office safe as well.
I just got my sample from EBay but it smells so similar to Tuscan leather (from what I remember) I’m wondering if I got scammed lol But this sample smells like “The Moon” by Frederic Malle mixed with Tuscan Leather. I get a very “leathery barnyard” vibe. It’s cool but I think I like the original better
I tried to like this one, I really did. But I just couldnt do it with me being younger in my early 20's it just didn't fit me and not ONE woman at my job liked it neither. Said it smelled like an old man, and the old man i tried to offer my sample to said just throw the whole thing away lol So i don't know where I sit with this one
smells amazing, i have the parfum version but terrible atomizer like you 275 for a 3.4 oz of a fragrance yet get the same quality atomizer as nautica bleu
I honestly have wasted my time buying some of these other colognes. I need only 3. Ombre Leather Parfum, Luna Rossa Black and Givenchy Gentleman Edition Privee
Smells way more like tobacco on the stick, I actually didn't like the scent on the stick. But on the skin once I settles its a whole different ball game.

Just can't do the Tom Ford prices man. You do make this sound damn good, I just can't afford it. And that's why I'm thankful for Rasasi La Yuqawam and Nabeel Arab Tradition. I have both of those and honestly, I'm VERY satisfied with my middle eastern fragrances.
Save rhe money the ombre leather is one of the best fragrances ive had definitely a step up from what i was wearing such as viktor and rolf spicebomb and the chanel bleu
You know what I think you’re right about the parfum more intense in association with the original from 2016 in that a square bottle one from when it was a private blend instead of what it became as a signature line. The violet absolu makes it airier which surprises me as a parfum concentration. Anyways thx man
I almost pulled the trigger on this today big b. Yo, the leather and tobacco notes on this joint is crazy. Not a big fan of leather notes but this is a must have. Instead I copped the armani profondo!
Lmao funniest thing ever just happened y’all, was in Sephora looking at colognes another guy on the side of me was trying out all Tom Ford colognes a lady came over and asked him what he was looking for. He said I want the best cologne preferably Tom Ford, she said okay let him smell something else and then recommended Black Orchid and Ombré Leather. It’s about to get good 😂 so then he says oh okay and he ends up buying oud or ombré, Then after that Since I heard a lot about Ombré myself I sprayed Ombré Leather, 1 Million parfum, and Tom Ford Noir Extreme on 3 sticks then without telling the lady who just told the other guy that Ombré Leather was one of the best to get because a lot of people were getting it I asked her for her lady’s perspective on the 3 sticks she told me the first one was bad and that she didn’t like it so I threw it in the trash. That was ombré Leather 😂, lesson is don’t play the name game buy what smells the best have your friend or a lady worker spray colognes you are considering on a stick and spray them, see which one you really like without the name and hype. But just for those that wanna know the rest she said 1 Million Parfum was good and was definitely the safest bet, and she said Tom Ford Noir Extreme was good and it was more of a risk but that it stands out so you smell unique, so she chose Noir Extreme for uniqueness. Then I put a playa smile on let her walk back to the counter I sprayed something on a stick knowing what the outcome would be before I even had her smell it I told her smell this one ☝️, her eyes lit up and she said oh my! This one is really good too I gotta say I like this one the best even over the unique one. To this I said that’s not to my surprise I went over to where I was came back to the register with a 6.8oz Dior Sauvage in my hand. TDLR: fragrance connoisseur’s will like Tom Ford Ombré Leather for its one of a kind uniqueness in smell, your every day woman (or man) WONT, it does smell like the leather in your car, forget what people say about it women LOVE ❤️ SAUVAGE (and men do too).
The ending is tough man on one hand I feel like she was just trying to make a sell but on the other I feel like she might’ve been genuine. I totally agree with the sentiment about how your average person won’t like/care about the deeper cuts of fragrances. IMO I just feel like there’s more pleasant/crowd pleasing alternatives to sauvage. not saying sauvage doesn’t smell good I just can’t get over the fact that I might smell like someone’s ex or dad or something, idk maybe it’s a mental thing I can’t overcome. ALTHOUGH, can’t wait to try that new sauvage though can’t lie.
BBB MAN I HAD THE ORIGINAL OMBRE LEATHER AND IT WAS AWESOME. I HAD IT IN COLOGNE OIL. AS I said it was a compliment magnetic 🧲🧲🧲🧲 everyone loved it on me , they discontinued the oil hopefully they will get this 2021 ombre leather
@@MichaelRodriguez-ci3dr I've had men smell my original bottle and this new one and they've even said the new one is softer (due to the powder) and that I should stop wearing the original (which lots of women wear) ..maybe you need to smell it on an actual woman, not just the paper (chemistry and all)
@@marcthompson4875 I fancy the new one. They are both are leathery, no doubt. The original feels rugged and sweet and this new one is more like new soft baby leather with powder, not as sweet. Have you gotten your nose on the new one, if so what do you think? Happy almost Sunday
@@terracottakim8234 I’m not new to this and have tried it on my fiancé and she and my sister came to the same conclusion that it leans masculine and not unisex whatsoever. But we all smell things differently so I guess you’re picking up on the more powerful aspects of the fragrance
