Tried Tuscan leather, it's strong and gives 80's 90's gangster vibe right away, if you standing next to someone who is wearing Tuscan leather you instantly get the vibe that, the guy dont like cheap jokes.
I think Tuscan Leather is one of the best fragrances ever. It is so unique and the performance is great for me. Ombre Leather is badass for sure but Tuscan Leather is just unmatched.
I’ve always preferred the ombré leather over Tuscan Leather. They are similar, but the Tuscan Leather comes off a tab sharp. The ombré leather is a little smoother and it’s a lot cheaper.
Ombre Leather is my Favorite. Tuscan Leather smells like you blew cigarette 🚬 smoke and Cigar smoke on your Leather Jacket and spilled Champagne on that same jacket. Ombre Leather is better. They corrected that smell.
@@rokinrandy Ombre leather smells like they puffed a cigarette and Cigar for less time than Tucsan Leather but instead of spilling one glass of Champagne they spilled a few glasses 🥂 . Maybe that's why I like Ombre Leather more because it's less smoke than Tucsan Leather.
@@rokinrandy Oud Wood Smells better than both. But it smells like your clothes were left on a camp fire that was put out hours before you put your clothes on it then taken into the woods and laid on top of various types of wood.

Tom Ford Ombré Leather is so gorgeous, the first day at work (Hotel, A la Carte restaurant) it got my 12 compliments in one evening! Tuscan Leather is the greatest fragrance ever! Nothing exists that is better than TL. My favorite. Can’t smell the raspberry, but that’s ok. Ombre Leather…not so much. TL is the only fragrance I would spend that much money on.
I bought Costa Azzura the other day and they gave me a sample of Ombre Leather Parfum and the first spray was horrid.....the brand new leathery couch smell through me off and then good god, the dry down got better and better and I couldn't stop smelling my hand. The dry down turned into something I wasn't ready for and I absolutely love it. Oddly enough, I tried it again the following day and now I appreciate the leather smell because I know what comes next. Good review though Robin, I'm gunna sample TL and see if it's worth the $$

Have both TL and OL. I prefer ombrè because i find it as a more natural and long lasting leather smell. Unfortunately on my skin TL develops in a raspberry mess after 2 hours till the end.
Perfect video at the perfect time as I'm hunting that type of fragrance. I think Ombre Leather might be the one though I've now got a sample of Tuscan Leather to test which might throw a spanner in the works.
Just bought a bottle of Tuscan Leather. Really love it. Tried samples of oud wood, tabacco oud, f*cking fabulous, tabacco vanille and noir de noir and liked this one the best. I am Alternating it with my Creed Aventus. Use Sauvage edp for work and ordered 8 Tauer sample so maybe an Andy Tauer will be my next purchase. Keep Up the good work.
well i can say what i like, but it doesn’t mean you will like it. Oud wood is very wearable oud. But i don’t like oud. Tuscan Leather smells nice bit too animalic for me to wear so i already sold the bottle. Tabacco vanille was too heavy on the tabacco for me so i bought PDM Herod. Can’t remember those other ones but not they were not special enough for me to buy a bottle. Only advise i can give is buy samples/decants and try them yourselves. Andy Tauer fragrances were much too intense for me btw😂😂.
On my skin, Ombre is incredible when first applied. Leather smell is not too potent and it has a pleasant floral tinge to it, making it quite balanced - especially for a beginner to leather fragrances. However, the floral notes become stronger over time and leather side nearly fades away entirely, leaving it quite heavy and sweet (and dare I say, common-smelling - especially amongst men who overspray their cologne). Tuscan on the other hand comes in stronger on the leather and largely retains this scent. At the same time, it also has that extra layer of brightness and complexity that gives it more depth than Ombre (maybe it's the raspberry). It's richer (without being stuffy) and more elegant and mature, while managing to stay fresh (in an Oud Wood kind of way). Opening goes to Ombre, but wearability over time goes to Tuscan.
Agree 100%. The weakest point of Ombre is its dry down - synthetic and ultra-sweet. Tuscan has a completely different dry down - much more natural and pleasant. I guess that's where the price difference is coming from. Haven't tried Ombre Parfum though, only edp.
Completely agree that the smokey leather accords in Ombre Leather dissipate on the skin within a couple hours, you're mostly left with floral tones (tho to me smells fruity like raspberry). On clothing the leather persists a lot longer. Still nice imo, even with the dry down on the skin.
I smelled TL as my first leather fragrance, I didn't expect leather to smell that good! Yet I got La Yuqawam by Rasasi, smells like the dry down of TL, and lasts a long time! for the fraction of the price! hahaha

I blind bought Ombre Leather. It's very sweet and smooth. I don't get the leather until it dries. I'm rather disappointed as I was hoping for a richer more sensual scent along the lines of Drakkar. Ombre Leather isn't bad but def not worth the price tag.
They are so similar to me I just got ombré leather blindly…as soon. As I sprayed it I immediately looked at it like wtf..? I thought it was Tuscan leather…this isn’t for everyone…I wouldn’t blind purchase either of these…the first time I used Tuscan leather I was extremely shocked by the smell…I thought it smelled like someone who just smoked a bunch of weed and tried to spray cologne on themselves to cover the stench…with that said I stayed with it and I grew to really appreciate the Tuscan leather…I prefer the dry down phase instead of the opening. And I would only wear these in the fall and winter.
That’s my scent since I quit smoking almost 20 years ago. 😂 hated nasty smoke. But tobacco has just good qualities as far as smell. My old closet. Leather jackets and smoke 😂
Hey Robin, I bought a Tuscan Leather from douglas europe. Its 100 % real. I checked everything 100 times and douglas only sells originals. They are a big company. But my TL smells completely different from the tester I smelled in the shop. The tester was long lasting, projecting and had that cocaine note in it. The flakon I got: Right after I sprayed only decetable skin near and almost vanishes after 1 hour. It smells like tuscan dna but without the smokey strong scent and the cocaine note. Nobody can smell it on me and it lasts for 30-60 mins skin near. Whats wrong with my tuscan? How can they sell this garbage for 200 bucks. Thanks in advance.
Leather fragrances are really not for me - love the scent but wearing it all day extremely hard for me. I dont mind it in the base like in Creed Tabarome but when its the main note, I think you need to be in an specific mood. I dont think either are blind buys as it takes a specific fragrance lover to wear leather scents.
I love both honestly I get the berry and leather from both and since ombré was from the private line I love both I don’t get much difference ombré it’s just bit more airy Tuscan is more oily Tuscan got more raspberry but I still get the sour berries from ombré too idk...
I love Ombre Leather but my girlfriend not that much.. Well I can wear this fragrance when she‘s not around but still it saddens me, because I do want to wear it also when I‘m with her gaining all the memories and stuff..
i have the body spray of tom ford tuscan leather first tom ford product i could afford lol but its just as good if looking for a cheaper alternative and my gf loves it and people at work compliment me all the time
IMO, the opening of the OL is very realistic strong nice leather smell. The opening of the TL is much sweater. But the dry down of the OL edp is horrible - very synthetic and cheap smelling. If you smell your clothes that have OL traces on it the next day, it will smell like the cheapest synthetic stuff you can imagine. The TL on the other hand has a much more natural smelling dry down. That is also the reason I went with TL and really enjoy the smell.
ombre is very similar to tuscan but ombre is sweeter especially in the dry down. Both are great. Scents angel has samples you can buy on most fragrances.

Hey Robin, ive noticed that you switch from parting your hair from right to left and left to right. Do you do that because your hair is able to do that with out rocking the rooster tail look. Or is there a reason why you switch. Thanks!
