Yes! Dude you get it. The way you are with animals, you actually talk to them and consider them people. Animals are far more intelligent than humans give them credit for. They are not dumb beasts! They do understand. Doing deeper: When you give an animal love and make them into a person -- you are effectively pulling it from the collective soul consciousness. In the next life they will be a human, thanks to you and your presence with another soul. Essentially - you are "passing the torch" with your attention to these equines.
I'm so thankful I never had to get crazy gear for the bugs in my region. I cant imagine the sky blacking out from horse and blackfly. Only stuff I bothered with was a fly mask, but thats on the vancouver island. Basically no bugs in comparison. I think you know, but if not. The best way to get down to the hooves safely is to stand with your shoulder against their side, run your hand from the shoulder or haunches down to the hoof, then you click your tongue for them to lift it, rest the hoof on your knee. Every horse knows how to do it, since the farrier needs to do it.
holy smokes, I didnt think fanny was over 16 hands! youre like a giant yourself so the perspective is skewed on camera. You might not wanna do it on camera, but when our horses get nippy, we whap them on the nose. Not hard since its so sensitive, just a firm tap. We had an arabian that would bite us constantly, just a grumpy old horse, she behaved for a few hours when we whapped her nose

Cool 😎 we were taught as kids to always keep a hand 🖐 or fingers on the animals as you walk behind or around them,,one because of short animals attention span ,,they focus on ahead generally on eating and can't see behind and through their own ears...lol also two five gallon buckets with feed or trouff up high secured to the fence with the rope soft tied helps ,,,separated by about seven feet or so ,, don't take much to have rough time with that kinda weight,,,wonder if they have fly paper stickers that could be placed on the protection coat ??? Removable velcro too caught Flys. There's a roll for going around fence post for farmers and really reduces the local fly population.
