@M he has done a lot of fucked up things but who cares, I laughed and laughed. I saw the video of him and he put a porn picture on his dad's car the other day. His Dad had to take the bus.....tom harassed his Dad at the bus stop.....his mom and Dad were so embarrassed. I laughed so hard but felt bad for his parents. Tom has balls of steal. 😆😆😆
I’m not sure if MTV Tom Green was the actual Tom green. I know he’s always been goofy/weird but I think he may have amped things up for the camera. I could be wrong.
@@tboman4128 you're that guy vacationing in another country complaining ''everything is so different here' ' 'and he is fortunate he didn't get the shlt kicked out of him
Hats off to Tom Green and his beautiful rescue. Ironically I was just wondering about him the other day as I never hear anything about him anymore. I'm happy to hear he is doing wonderful traveling this beautiful country with his beautiful dog. I run an animal rescue and every single time I hear someone has a rescue my heart explodes with happiness as there are so many wonderful pets in need of loving homes at a shelter near you. I have nothing but love and respect for anyone who has a rescue.
During the pandemic we sold everything and bought an RV. Been on the road with my wife, my nine year old, my five year old, and my four month old. Been out six months and it truly is life changing and spiritually awakening. It may not be for everyone but everyone should do it. You truly learn what really matters and what you really need in life. Do it!
Best time to do. No need for schools these days, especially if you homeschool. When I was a kid long road trips were possible for anyone middle class and shit wasn't price gouged and wages were closer to livable even for those at the lower end and both parents didn't need to work. Gas was cheap in comparison.

I’ll always love Tom Green. He’s the OG of sketch/reaction comedy. I always looked forward to The Tom Green show in the late 90s when I was young. Lots of nostalgia.
If you grew up with Tom Green, you'd know just how "out there" he can be. So seeing him being one of the most chill, relatable, and normal guests on here is wild lol.
I'm picturing Tom playing a piano with dozens of bouncing sausages hanging from string singing "daddy would you like some sausage?! Daddy would you like some sausages"
Honestly, I get him. I've been tempted so many times to just sell everything, load the car and just drive it around the US and settle wherever it breaks down.
So was I, so was I. Picked up a decent camper and hit the road, 2 weeks in I had gotten a bit of food and stocked up on tons of beer because it was getting cold. But I was drunk and lonely so I picked up two hitchhiking women and called this chunky stripper from a run down strip joint. I had completely forgot about weight limits, and with the two hitchhiking women being 275lb each and the stripper close to 400lb, the weight snapped the back axel when the strippers portable stripper pole came unstuck when she tried to do a fancy twirl. We were stuck out there for weeks, by the start of the second the unwashed poon stank from the chicks was attracting wolves. Long story short we had to feed the chunky stripper to the every wolves and threw rocks at helicopters to get them to see us, luckily the other 3 of us made it, although one of the hitchhikers lost her left teet due to frostbite. Please, be safe
Me too.doing the van thing.traveling.adventure.play music.still want to.problem is is people frown on it.treat you different.I got out of jail bout 10 months ago and had nowhere to go, was on the streets of Austin,Tx for a couple months which was kinda like a scary party every night, but average like normal people would totally treat you like shit usually.Living in your vehicles bout the same.but,if YOUR HAPPY,that's all that matters right..
@@504herman thats the 2 choices....security or freedom. Whichever one you feel suits you, neither is wrong. I choose freedom, im not working everyday just so I can have a building to sleep in.
I moved into a similar Ram Promaster about a year and a half ago. It's been an incredibly freeing experience, but it's not as easy and carefree as many people think. You really have to he comfortable with yourself and be prepared for long stretches of isolation and limited human contact. I think it's an incredible learning experience that teaches people a lot about themselves, as well as how to be resourceful in the world. The minimalistic nature of it was one of the main aspects that attracted me to the lifestyle, we do not need as much as we think to be happy!
Being isolated with limited human contact is the exactly the draw for some of us! I'm building my Promaster as soon as this western Washington weather dries up! ☮️🚐🐶❤️
It doesn’t feel like he gets the recognition he deserves, but at least real fans today know and appreciate it and hopefully someday he is awarded with being a pioneer in the early days of what’s now the new media.
I'm glad to see Tom Green is doing well!! I loved the Tom Green show back in the day. No one has ever made me laugh like he does. What's cool is my daughter and her boyfriend went on a vantastic voyage across America this past summer in her Ram van her boyfriend tricked out with a full size bed, kitchenette, etc... Van life baby!! Maybe one day Tom's path and her path will cross out in the great wilderness of america!
@@mikepiccoli6378 even though he's a rich famous guy he seems kind of like Joey Diaz to me just an average dude if you see them on the street you wouldn't even know his name is he doesn't dress famous he doesn't act famous. And sometimes in your life you just need to get up and go and say hey the hell with it I'm going to go road trip around the country but sometimes doing that. You end up finding who you really are and what you want in life
Humanity’s most trusted Envoy to the elusive Global Sasquatch Colonies: Michael Thomas Green And to be fair, he once did say that a Sasquatch is his favorite animal. 😆
Yeah, influential in killing comedy; Influential in filling the cable and fiber channels of America with stupid, painfully non-funny garbage that people only laughed at because they were programmed by MTV to laugh at it, even though there was no comedy value to be found in it anywhere.
I loved watching the TGS in the 90's. Sometimes he went TOO far with his tasteless antics, but the reactions of people in public were absolutely PRICELESS! Nice to see him on the JRE!
@@ryanhalliday2615 Some people spend a quarter of that just to outfit their whole van. Maybe it's not a lot to someone buying a custom rig like Tom Green but it is to others.
Ppl talking shit about living in an RV just have no idea how nice RVs have become. Not to mention it’s ridiculously cheaper than renting an apartment or buying a home. For about 10grand you can have a great little RV that’s bigger than those BS “tiny homes” and way nicer. 2 “expensive” batteries and some solar panels and you can go anywhere.
Tom Green is criminally non-funny, and holds at least as much responsibility for killing comedy as Grunge music had at killing Rock 'n' Roll. He was literally the antithesis of funny in the 1990s.
Tom is the OG of so much social media content. Sketch comedy. Filming public reactions to pranks. Arguably one of the pioneers of podcasting. Amazing interview.
Ariel and Bon, trying to promote your YT channels this way is disingenuous and will turn people off. Just ask people nicely to check out your content and you won't look like as much of an ass
The success of The Eric Andre Show and Rogan's podcast are all due to the groundwork laid by Tom Green, from his pioneering show in Canada (which America was too uptight at the time to handle when he moved his show to New York) basically being The Eric Andre Show but without the big name celebrity guests and studio budget to his internet talk show shot from his home, which Joe was a guest on and literally said "We need to find a way to make money off of this" before starting the JRE. So you don't disrespect the man's name, that could get you punched in certain parts of Canada.
I’ve always loved Tom, I’ve been a fan since the beginning. Had the pleasure of talking to him on his webovision show from his old house in California once, people kept prank calling and I managed to not get hung up on.
Hey Tom. I'm about to be on the road in a schoolie myself. By the end of March 2021. I was a huge fan of yours growing up. Still am of course. I hope to meet you on the road sometime. Love to have a brew or a smoke with ya buddy. Thank you for inspiring me over the years. And again with van life. Hope to see you soon. Blessings mate. Much love and respect to you and charley.
I think Tom thought that joke was going to get a big laugh out of Joe, but it's like Joe didn't hear it, or his thoughts were elsewhere, so it just fell flat. I liked it, though.
There's a ton of Great Country rap now, it can be rather tacky if not done properly but there's some Great country rap like Upchurch and Bubba Sparxx and the Nappy Roots as well, they've been around a long ass time and haven't got much credit
Tom doesn't deliver a lot of his jokes with a beat and as much as I love Joe, the dude really needs queues sometimes to understand someone is being funny and not just saying something to him truthfully.
Tom Green is a genius. Others may deem his quirks and humor as that of a moron or a local shock jock. But this man is behind so much viral shit before viral videos on YT was a thing. CKY, Bam Margera, Jackass, It's just a prank viral videos, shit that almost every early 200s shock jocks on radio would do, among other things. Tom Green is my hero. He is the most interesting and intelligent person without the credit that he deserves. I hope you read this Tom, I just want to say that you always made me smile when going through tough unhappy times. You built the humor and gave me the confidence in so many ways. You're the OG of everything awesome.
@@stevenlozano1911 oh I'm with you man I was just being sarcastic back in my day in the seventies we built vans all the time I consider this to be like the second wave of the van fever, except back then you had much less restrictions👍
I met Tom one day when he was giving a show on base at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. I was lucky to smoke a cigarette with him and talk with him about his surfing trips and his love for Costa Rica. He's as genuine as they come!
So glad Tom mentioned Battle Born batteries! Best in the field by far. Have used them for both boating and going off the grid. Nothing else compares. Go Tom!
I think this is awesome because I have been living in a van for two years. Yes, I chose to live this lifestyle and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love my life and my tiny home on wheels. ❤🚐🎸
Did that a few years back for a year. Was an excellent adventure! I met the most amazing people and the simple life treated me well. After a year of touring Europe the engine had some troubles and the part I needed was hard and thus expensive to get, so decided to selll the van when I found a guy who was interested in buying it for a suitable price. Still look back to those times though! Now I'm thinking about boat life and maybe buy a small cruiser boat to tour around Europe.
Seriously this is something I have always known.. I can't explain it .. but when I saw tom Green years ago, I was like " He lives or will live in a Van".
I remember when he was at a mall or some place in a small public fountain wearing full blown scuba gear with a little floating flag and shit. I was laughing so hard I was in tears.
Brought a used Chevy Express May 2020 and was out West 30 days later for a full 2 months and saw 12 national parks and not sure how many national monuments. Best decision I ever made. Truly is life changing. The simple life is so under appreciated and I’m never going to back to the “stuff” I used to think was important.
Man. I would love for Tom to randomly just show up in PA. I'll go fishing with the man. Some of my best stomach wrenching laughs were created from him lol thanks Tom. I wish you nothing but the best in your life sir
Ah I love it! I lived that life a long time and many of the same places he has been. Was just camping solo in The Valley of the Gods in Utah in August. Amazing! Good for him!
He divorced her for "irreconcilable differences" and it makes me wonder why.... like how crazy do you have to be for Tom Green to get sick of your shit after only 6 months of being married?
Wow imagine getting a call after 15 years from Drew saying come on my show. Amazing no communications in 15 years. Dude seems so grounded and happy ATM.
ya i lived in a 98 dodge van not knowing whether i would be able to cover insurance let alone gas or food...pfft not a dream at all, try it for 2 years.
