I just love this interview!! It felt so truthful, and Thomas connected so much with the interviewer that ir reallyopened a little window to his soul and to what passionates him more in life... The Scrubble moment was special from my point of view, it revealed how strongly he is attracted to words and language. Who would be this fascinated for reading a dictionary??!! Probable just Thomas and a couple more people on this World, but it was just adorable!!!!! Time just flew, amazing. Congratulations!!!!

I have long said that I could be enthralled listening to him read the dictionary and I was right.

Tom, I know which Russian Hamlet you are referring to. This is Hamlet (1964) by Grigori Kozintsev. I grew up watching this on and on and on this interpretation with Innokenty Smoktunovsky (famous Russian actor) in the title role. Next came the “Taganka” Theatre version with Vysotsky as the gloomy royal Dane. This performance was smuggled in the form of many tapes of live performances that were not meant to be recorded - just as everything else that was a product of Vysotsky’s art… I was deeply in love with Vysotsky’s Hamlet to the point that I would dismiss any other great actors’ work.

This interview is my favorite... I've listened to it many times over.
