Sorry to learn of Gordon's passing on. Well, I guess we must all come to it. It was heartwarming to hear about all his friends, and how the church was crowded for his funeral. That's the mark of a life well lived.
Aaah that’s such a shame Gordon is no longer with us. I asked him about the sharpie about 5 years ago and he said he sold in to a guy in Twickenham yacht club the following year after the restoration. He said the sharpie was now working in a sandpit as an ornament now. Never knew if he was joking or not!
