Tom Jones is a Welsh singer who has one of the smoothest powerful voices around. And he was a showman too, in fact he was a big heart-throb with the ladies. He has so many hits such as "I'll Never Fall In Love Again", "It's Not Unusual", "Delilah", "What's New Pussycat?", "She's A Lady", "Help Yourself" etc. He covers a lot of genres. He is still performing & is a coach on "The Voice" UK version. He also had a variety show from 69 - 71 & had some of the biggest music stars at the time.

what an unusual choice for a first listen to Tom Jones. if you evef saw Thr Fresh Prince of Bel Air you will have heard the song It's Not Unusual (the Carlton dance?) which was a massive hit. This guy is a legend . Back in the 60s he had his own TV show- he sang with Janice Joplin on it. He is absolutely massive int eh UK and worldwide and still sings in his 80s . His fanous songs include What's New Pussycat, Delilah, Sex Bomb , I Who Have Nothing, and many many more, In this song he's in prison. It's a cver , also sung by Porter Wagoner.
