Thanks for good analysis. To participate in this rally without taking much risk, I have been buying calls on the SPX, with expiration about 1 week forward. Because the volatility has been so low, these calls usually cost only around 1/2% of the SPY share price, per share. So, you can commit about 1/200 of the amount of capital for the same exposure to the SPY as buying the underlying shares at full price. Meanwhile, the rest of your capital can earn 5% yield in a government money market fund.

Any of you who miss becoming a millionaire during this next recession don't be sad, there will be more recessions to come😂

I think there will be a buy the dip opportunity in from July 15 finding bottom july 19 that will be quickly bought back but will be stymied by election fears starting in mid august lasting through November where the market will feel for new levels of support. The election fears will mitigate immediate positive impact of the fed rate cut in September

I really wdnt know but my speculation based on listing to CNBC and videos like this is that the Fed (our Economy) needs to see some pain for the right longer term right sizing.

The key is risk analysis. The markets are and has always been unpredictable. Thus the important point is not how much one might make but what one could lose. trading and holding on speculative stocks/Crypto and even great stocks can test ones ability in the arena of our ability to control ones loss aversion bias…buy high sell low…The market is overvalued by almost all measures like the CAPE and Buffett indicator. Speculation is high with things like meme stocks (are they dead yet?), our kitty dude, Ai dreaming and all.... It is all about how much one can lose during times like these. Does that mean don't invest, of course not but one must access the risk and have a way out if the tide goes out.....I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.6B'tc to a decent 24B'tc....I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

If the Fed does lower rates in September, maybe we get a surprise in July, then the stock market will go up. Also, then Oct and/or Nov we get another cut the market goes up, but of course that depends on the data. We will have to watch earnings to see if they are affected in a strong way.

Why the negativity all the time….hard to watch you now

If the US Economy were a company, government jobs would be considered a liability and private sector jobs would be considered an asset because government jobs are paid by the taxpayer and do not produce revenue greater than their cost. The goal should always be to reduce government jobs and increase private sector jobs. The last thing we need is more government jobs.
