We don't need to forget it happened, but we do need to find a way to teach the new generations to learn from those dark times and grow from it. Being straight up, I grew up (now 65) in an area with NO blacks or Asians, but a 65% population of Hispanics. I can speak Spanish bc I had to learn. When I joined the military (retired USAF) is when I got my first crash course with black people. But, we had be "taught" that they were different, didn't like whites (in general), and that race was an issue. After all these years, and now "knowing better" how the world works, I can say quite honestly that there are certain "types" of blacks that I do not trust and don't like. I have also had quite a few black friends. There are also certain types of whites that I don't trust or like. there are certain types of Asians (I am married to a Filipina) I don't like or trust. And on and on...Right now I'm literally surrounded by Asians!

Thomas Sowell has the real untruth history not taught in schools. About slavery. God made us all ❤ Past is the past. We all suffered in a way. What you do is your actions can't blame someone else. You not born into it you get taught.

If you judge based on color instead of character then you are the problem. GOD made us all in his image . He made us different in my opinion so we can lear from each other. There is one Race the HUMAN RACE! Every person on this planet is my Brother and Sister!

The reason we teach history is so we wont repeat it. Teaching history is not the problem, the problem is erasing history. One key point is the fact that people in this country believe only white people owned slaves in this & only black people were slaves in this country (all lies). My Irish ancestors were slaves (they were called indentured servents but thay were forcefully taken from their homeland & died in servitude) in this country the British brought them over on the Mayflower. We have to know slavery was an era & ERROR in history & it was WRONG. If we learn historical facts & do our own research we can be free of the divisive oppressive bastards in DC. The only colors we should see in this country are RED, WHITE, & BLUE. Its time to put our people first no matter the color of our skin, our gender, our religion, or our sexual orientation we need to stand together A NATION DIVIDED WILL ALWAYS FALL. Our Representatives in DC no longer represent our best interests, they want control & as long as they have us hating each other we will loose.
