Tom's biggest mission is to get people to STOP dividing themselves. Black/White, Gay/Straight, Conservative/Liberals, Rich/Poor, Male/Female, etc. etc. etc. ALL of this division keeps us fighting each other and ignoring what the politicians are doing OR not doing. Tom causes Discussion, that's a Positive thing lately. Not all of Tom's Fans agree with what he's saying.....But they like that he's SAYING it. Something to understand about Tom is that he not only writes all his songs, creates the beats (music), he records them himself, self-publishes his CD (they are sent out signed, from his home). He has No Manager, No Record Label, NO sponsors. His girl Nova Rockafeller Directs/Produces/Mixes/Tapes all of his videos. It's just Him and Nova (and the HOG = HangOver Gang) against the world. One thing you might want to do when doing a reaction video, is pause the video every once in a while and react to "smaller bites". Some people pause after every Bar....LOL
Tom keeps it 💯 as he sees it. He's not left wing or right wing, doesn't like organizations, very centrist and independent. The best way to really understand his thoughts and where he's coming from is listen to his whole catalogue, at some point he touches on everything and anything. He makes and records his own music, his girlfriend Nova Rockafeller does the videos (and also records her own music), and their friend Evan mixes and master's the audio. The videos are mostly filmed at him and Nova's home. First went viral with "Dear Rappers" and from there never looked back. That's a good starting point and work forward from there if yall decide to go down the Tom rabbit hole. If you do more Tom and Nova, the Hangover Gang (Tom's fanbase) will find their way here for sure. His newest song "Clown World" dropped on Friday and hit 1 million views on RU-vid in under 12 hours. Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Tom MacDonald. Tom Raps about what is going on in society atm. He is brutally honest and most of the time he says the things everyone is scared to say. He is a COMPLETELY independent artist. Just him and Nova his girlfriend. Tom writes and records the music, builds the video sets and handles all the daily business himself even signing every cd sold and mailing out themselvess. Nova helps with some of the hooks (She also does music) and directs and records all his videos which are mostly done at home due to covid. He has an extensive catalog and just dropped a new one on friday called Clown World. Most of the main stream hate him because he tells the truth. They have tried to cancel him several times but always fail because he is independent. Ther is literally no one helping Tom and Nova so there is no one who can be swayed by outside opinion and they hate him for it. He has had several BillBoard #1's and always hits #1 on all the streaming platforms everytime he drops a video. ATM he is the only one who is taking on the industry and seems to be winning. The man will be a legend one day no one has had independent success like Tom has had and they (Music Industry and main stream culture) cannot stand it. I didn’t know that your brother was the one that requested that song I didn’t understand all the lyrics but he definitely had a few points in there and I didn’t know that he was an independent musician and his girlfriend films the videos that is pretty crazy. Well shit, you're screwed up now. We are hangovergang. We are a family united after listening to Tom and Nova. Many of us didn't like rap or quit listening to rap because we got tired of it always been the same thing but Tom is different. He always has a message of anti separation and pro-unity. He's not afraid to say what many of us are already thinking. He's not afraid to call out the bull that he sees in the world. He gets a lot of hate for what he does but he gets a lot of love for it as well. This is a journey that you won't regret going on and I am subscribing to watch you go down that path

This was my first Tom MacDonald song, but you'd likely like "Best Rapper Ever" (and, trust me, it's NOT what you think - it's amazing) - and the other you'd likely like "People So Stupid" - it's funny and light hearted. A more serious one he did is called "Cancer" - maybe do a reaction to one of those 3? Just suggesting.
