I like how the guitar just ended up being itself, rather then what morello would have envisioned. gives the guitar a unique story for a very unique player.
Wow, thank you for the compliment. When I started this channel I had no idea that making videos would be this much work, and I'm glad that people like yourself enjoy them.
I’m 100% onboard with this budding RU-vid success story of a channel. I’m humbly requesting that you consider doing Tim Mahoney of 311’s blue 1999 PRS Custom 24. He’s been playing it and a newer re-creation of it called “New Blue” since 99’.
Yes as a matter of fact. I think he's innovative and talented and comes across as a down to earth accessible person in interviews. I also really enjoyed his Masterclass. I just like making jokes, some work, some don't.
When I got really deep into RATM I had a pretty good job so I would buy pistols and ammo and go hand them out to homeless folks on the weekend. It felt really good to give back.
I love the ironic humor in this video it's amazingly hilarious. i also wanna say I love the content man keep it up you make some great guitar information videos. I like your twist in this type of videos cuz it makes it even more interesting and entertaining to watch
Never knew about the Fathead, that's an interesting concept for increasing sustain, but I'd think a bigger tremolo block would have more effectiveness (California).
Most starving artists however will take the money for their art. You can say “I don’t care about money” all you want and, Im not saying its most important thing but…you’re gonna want some when there is no whiskey on a Friday. Or no food in the fridge. 🤔
And of course the production version of his guitar is made in Mexico, Fender having realised that they could *EXPLOIT* the lower labour rates a mere 50 miles south of the US border in order to make cheaper guitars, which in turn would be affordable to more people, so they would sell more, and make *MORE PROFIT* . And of course it doesn't use an Original Floyd Rose trem, made in Germany by Schaller, but an FRT-O2000 made in Korea at *EXPLOITATIVE* labour rates.
hilarious video loved it, but if anyone in the comments genuinely takes the jokes made at toms expense as their actual positions on left wing history and politics you guys are dummies
Not just that but Tom is, politically, a complete hypocrite. I do even know why people try to defend him and his dumb grade school politics at this point. He grew up “privileged, went to an Ivy League school and has made (and continues to make) millions through CAPITALISM but we’re supposed to take his “I’m a communist bullshit seriously lol?
Enough with the communism…We get it…you beat the joke to death…politics are boring…Dude also wears his sunglasses indoors too much…could have thrown that one in…
I was worried this was you just passively criticizing communism because we all know capitalism isn't implemented by force and capitalists don't poison the water of entire towns to save a quick buck along other horrifying and deadlier violations... That would be ridiculous lol, but we can all have fun and make jokes, no biggie
I like your videos. However you clearly don't understand that simply because you engage in commerce does not make you a capitalist. I know these concepts often get confused, but labeling buying a guitar or getting paid to do something as "capitalist" is sort of cringy. Please research "the difference between capitalism and commerce" if you're interested.
@@elang7961 Because he pretends to stand for the rights of people and money is bad but is a complete hypocrite. He's just another pompis prick rockstar
@@Ottophil I'm being absolutely serious when I say, you need to toughen up a little. The world isn't a rosy place for people that are happy to be lied to.
