Many years ago at Stevens Talkhouse on the east end of Long Island . Went to see The Tom Russell Band . Purchased his CD and learned his song BLUE WING awesome song. I made it part of my act. I always think of my deceased brother. He never had any tattoos or anything. I think about him a lot.

Despite Tom's opinion of who does this song best - Tom will always be my first choice - the song that introduced me to his music - a songwriter without equal.
