Tom's birthday Vlog! My husband is really missing Japan so I decided to make a day dedicated to some of his favourite things so that we could 'travel' there without travelling. In the morning I tried making a Japanese breakfast for the first time, then the rest of the day was full of Gundam and more Japanese food.

That’s a good point! I admit I have no idea how much tools cost. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I thought it was sweet how she went out of her way and spent time going around all those shops just to make sure he got exactly what he needed instead of like ordering an expensive scarf online or something, you know? 😊

For the tamagoyaki, cook it on lower heat so that it doesn’t bubble. Also if you flip the cooked side on to the new egg you just laid down, you’ll get those nice layers in between! flip the cooked side, and then push it back to the end of the pan and start again!

Very well done as always!! Btw you could roll from “out” to “inward”, then push back to the “outside”, and pour new layer of eggs and repeat! ^.^ I’ve got Japanese soufflé pancake recipe if any of you interested ☺️

Finally catching up on your videos after a hectic month at work going from face to face teaching and moving back online due to COVID cases where I work.
