Love that opening. Best vaping I've ever seen. Not like that over-the-top vaping from years back, but like a more mature and in control vaping. I love this kind of comic: NO COMPROMISES. No wonder you can't find this kind of comedy ANYWHERE (I'm looking at YOU, RU-vid), it's too close to THE TRUTH.

My favorite part was the send up of specials where the audience portion of crowd work is not miked & unbearable to watch.

The lead up....gets on stage a little sweaty immediately saying THIS WAS A MISTAKE hahahahahha

Tom, you saved me by restoring my pride in being from somewhere near Philly/The Princeton Record Exchange and in having gone to shows. Now you have saved me once again. I have always thought Seinfeld (the person and often the show) sucked, but I thought I was alone. No more.

Christ almighty, well done Tom! You are literally a first-timer and you absolutely blew past the younger half of the stable of idiot comics in Rogan’s orbit (and also Burt, who I assume is older than you). Gives me a lot of hope as an absolute loser pushing 40 who’s been archiving bits into his phone and never even getting up there for the last 18 years - the hope that I, too, can do this - although for no money, but still get laughs and be proud of myself, which you should be. One day, no drafts, and a 30 minute set that actually works? Truly, sincerely impressive

Steamrolling chumps indeed. Seinfeld felled in mere moments and a Golden Bachelor/Barenaked Ladies mash up? Solid invective culled off the cuff and much much better than many of those who "do it" in less prep time.

Wow, this is so bad. Pretends to be pushing himself into risky bucket list projects, yet on this just does like a radio show rambling thing in front of his usual ass kissing, cult members audience. No real risk or pushing himself to new realms at all. 👎👎

Huge (boring) build-up, followed by nothing. Complaining about stand-up comics, that are far beyond better than whatever this was. Written in 1 day, Not Workshopped (which is a very bad idea) , is an attempt to say, "I know this isn't good and I'm not funny, but still listen" . "Look, I invited 20 audience members that still answer my call and agree with me"

I keep rewatching 0:15:05 or so just soaking it all in. Cackles lol. Tom is the best, and he's a close friend if you're a Tom fan, so it's easy to get cozy with him. Sounds creepy, but he wrote a book and has talked to us for hundreds of hours. Standup seems like surfing to me.. I wouldn't want to deal with getting up there and saying hi, but man when you're on that wave it just goes. Lots of good waves on this bad boy. Lots of Tommyboyz. I love watching writers write on stage! This is Top Tom. Not "Top Gun Tom" Tom we're talkin Magnolia Cry Scene. But 17 hours no sleep my fav and I guarantee there's a universe where Tom did this special as the last hour of a 24-hour Best Show Thon-thon. I can't imagine sparking a clove in one. - I dont know much about Drake or Kendrick Lamar, but I dabbled just now, and Drake has a lil' Tom Brady in him. Kendrick writes, Drake recites. When attractive Content Vehicles from Nick Jr, Mickey Mouse Club, or DiGrassi grow up and decide go full 'lestat', they need to at least acknowledge their weird kid show origins somehow- that's the get the audience back. I dunno maybe Drake is the master of self depreciation and the battle was purely a way to let Lamar shine. If so, then Nick Jr probably made Tom Brady. My "quick take" is that Drake is lost in that weird Britney Spears Quiz Kid Donnie Smith black hole, and Kendrick makes art when he feels like it. It's like Bill Gates buying Aerosmith and taking over as the new singer in a large exchange of cash. Drake kinda woke up with a bunch of money and a talent for acting in a wheelchair. It feels engineered (JerrySeinfeldRigged). This special is the opposite of that. It's the Lamar. This special is the city that isn't Plano.
