Thank you so much Tom for always telling us these great background stories♥️🙌🏻. I love you so much❤ and love you sweet beautiful Bud❤, you were as great as Shelby. Play happily on the rainbow bridge.🌈🐶♥️
The dog not eating is s "Show dog "trick they eat snacks or treats in that 48 hrs not a big meal..Thats exactly right then they pay attention to the actors..i get it they do get treats not a huge meal..not abuse the dogs raised that way👍🏻
I love dogs they so cute also I love krypto because it’s connects to the comics I wonder why they never stick with the comics why? Was there a reason why they couldn’t do it was there regulations or something? Wondering also why we barely see him in the show only once a season each season when they introduced him in season 4?
Possibly copyright reasons. Back in the day, the creative teams for DC shows had restrictions on what characters they could use, so they had to improvise. My complaint about Shelby being a stand in for Krypto is they could've at least used a dog that was closer to Krypto's appearance. There is a variety of retrievers called English cream, which are basically Golden retrievers that are either platinum blonde or white gold in color. Krypto is technically a mixed breed but he's usually portrayed as a pitbull type in the comics and animation, albeit some exceptions, like New 52 where he was a wolf dog. The closest thing I've seen that looks like him in real life is either the American bulldog or Dogo Argentino.
@@miyadeen5867 It's a bit different now though, some of those restrictions were eventually lifted so these days the creative teams for DC shows and movies have more freedom in regards to what characters they can use. There's already plans to do more content with the superpets which includes Krypto as part of the Superman movie coming next summer.
It's always fun, hearing these legends talk about their experiences, during their time filming Smallville. While I'm not an animal person, seeing Krypto in live action was pretty fun. Smallville was ahead of It's time. TERRANCE OUT
