yeah i just watched this last night for the first time in ages. he tries to strike up a jokey rapport but the fact that he's done next-to no research really shows.
they made one for 'rape this day' but IMO they could have chosen a better track if they really wanted to make a proper go of it (eg mayday or captain midnight)
They got some harmony in the end when they shared their love for blowing men. Other than that, Jabba talked too much for them. They were on different waves.

@leezyknoxville Yeah i cringed a quite a few times. I just thought the guy came off as rude; it was pretty obvious he wasnt a fan of their music and i dont think a professional can let that sort of thing show. And i agree, he could have done a little research so he could ask decent questions.

Nah, I konw he seems shit, but it's Australian humour, the boys are actually playing along, and trust me, it's fuckin funny. Just doesn't translate well. I've seen Jabba do some of the funniest interveiws, one with Trent Reznor was great, and the time he spotted the Beastie Boys hanging out at the Big Day Out - they didn't know what the hell he was on about, it was great! Anyway, cheers :)

this interview could have gone fine, but jabba starts out with bullshit about AAF. If he actually asked them some questions (i dont know maybe about their music???) i dont think they would have gotten a bit hostile. I dont blame either of them for getting sick of this shit as im sure they have to deal with it all the time...
i'm sorry but i have seen that guy interview other people and i honestly don't think he's good at all. he obviously thinks he's hot shit when really he's just a knob and it was nice to see him get taken down a peg or two. i've got no sympathy for the guy, if there's one thing i can't stand it's interviewers who don't do their research! this IS what they get paid for after all!
Fuckin weird but, the first time I heard Tomahawk without any knowledge of them except Patton front the band, I thought "man, this sounds like some crazy Australian Outback music. Like something you'd see in a film like Wolf Creek. And then I thought, "they must be huge in Australia" and what do yah know...huge in Australia. Weird. Gay. Lame.
