Mario Bro .... hey Mario bro thanks for the playlist I'm new to Tomahawk been getting off on Pat in here for about a year now don't get me wrong all the bands are awesome I've been tripping on Tomahawk now for about 2 months just happened across God Hates a Coward and I thought holy s*** so I started with Faith No More last year and I've been going on all this other stuff I appreciate fantomas but you know that is kind of way too experimental for me anyways sorry to bother you man just wanted to say thanks
Near the end when Patton started to mock some people in the audience by saying "Boring... boring", for a second I thought he was going to start singing the lyrics to a certain Bungle song.
Vale assistir o show no Chile e em Santa Ana CA no RU-vid.
I had the possibility to see Tomahawk live, open for Nine Inch Nails in Milano... but we came late, just in time to see Patton salute people and say vaffanculo...
TOMAHAWK!!!!
Just another time Tomahawk obliterated the bands it was supposedly supporting. Its frightening when you see this then think how big they should have been!!!
I f****** love tomahawk it took me awhile see I'm 43 years old I grew up loving Pearl Jam Soundgarden you know that type of music and I saw the video for epic not thoughts f*** these dudes and never looked again so one day I'm sitting on my back porch about a year ago I come across a Zombie Eaters live holy s*** holy s*** this is awesome how did I miss this so needless to say I've been just freaking Mike Patton freak well all the musicians he plays with are awesome I've said this before on other comments for other songs I just can't express how much I dig it so this is my way of saying phuc yea
Grande Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!
can anyone explain to me why patton in 2013 was so erratic with the fx box? in 2003 era, he used the fx so perfectly. in the 2013 show clips, i keep hearing dry, fx-less vocals where it is supposed to be nice and saturated with an effect. idk if it's because he was trying to make a statement, like "i don't need any fx", or because the fx box he uses now just isn't set up as well. very erratic though. in one clip, for instance, i will hear a nice thick reverb in a section and then in the next couple clips of the same song from diff shows, the vocal part will be totally dry...
Stay safe Sir Mike, think and YOU, and no problems not be. My Inglish, is scotish. Portugal c'not be your brother, but, will be a God cousin.
"thats bassist" just happens to be Trevor Dunn,i wouldn't say he just some bassist and i think your lacking research if you're a Mike Patton fan in general?
Thomlistentoslayer im sorry, i had no idea his name makes him better at playing bass, which i wasn't even talking about. i was referring to his background vocals being lackluster. his playing was fine though.
thats cool man, but i never mentioned anything about his playing, i love bungle. his background vocals tell me he doesn't give a shit about the show is all.
Claypool is obviously a god to many so I won't say he isn't great at what he does. That said, Dunn is undoubtedly a far more versatile bassist and, I'll even say his talents are more impressive overall. His playing in a song like "Dead Goon" makes Claypool's god-like talents seem... just so so.
