Completely apologize if the sound/music is a bit loud, total noobie with video editing, but getting there!
- Tomb Raider 1 has always been one of my favorite childhood games and when I saw a fellow youtuber recreate it on the PC version, I just had that inspiration of trying to do it myself on the console version. It started first on PS3, but now it has moved onto the PS4. Big thanks for FoxMaster for that inspiration. (Link to channel below if you want to check it out.)
- This is done to scale, meaning the entire map is connected as how the game is.
- Because TR1 is old, there are empty spaces here and there. I tried to make the ceilings/roofs more bigger to give it that cave like feeling. I altered one room to make it feel bigger since there was nothing, but emptiness that led you lower into the game and to a door.
- This project started two years ago, with each level taking about 2 weeks total. Unfortunately the project has been to a halt (reasons), but has had a small spark of life with a few more levels added.
- So far only the first 5 levels have been completed (with the exception of the 6th which is not playable, but completed) and the final two levels ( Atlantis and Great Pyramid).
- All levels are seamlessly connected, meaning no teleporting needed to enter a new level. Because of this, I failed to foresee a problem and some sections of a level might be altered or even entirely new because of space issues/past level areas got in the way. It still holds true to the game. Don't worry, it isn't THAT big of a change and it's only in about one area.
At this moment of time, I have no intention of sharing the map (If I could, I have no idea anyways). Croft Manor, tutorial, is there as well and is the main HUB for entering Peru, Egypt and such. Thanks for watching, hopefully I'll add the next episode soon.
