Here is the reason why I don't have to pull the lever. The dummy trigger below the trapdoor is missing on the UKBox Version, which is an oversight from the developers. It makes it possible to climb up and drop through because you aren't interacting with anything solid. This is actually quite similar to something that is dev intended in the expansion game Unfinished Business. The bright room in Temple of the Cat has a fence blocking the other side however, on exit you can pass through it.
So does that mean jumping up into the trap door while it’s closed doesn’t count as a glitch? Such awesome techniques for this level which is one of my favourites! 😁
@@Eycore ah awesome! I have a question - see in Bartoli’s Hideout, how come you can climb up and complete the level without detonating? I’ve never been able to climb up and complete it without using the detonator key on the opposite side. Is it different versions like PAL etc?
Thanks man :) I don't think walk run jump has ever broken on that spot. It tends to occur when Lara doesn't complete a full tiles distance when running, for example by hitting a wall or falling off an edge.
