From the world premiere of the Tomb Raider Suite, performed live by the London Philarmonic Orchestra. Composed by Nathan McCree. End of concert, Part 2.
I remember playing this for the first time in '97 and wishing that one day I would be able to hear the music played by a real orchestra and not simply produced by digital keyboards and instruments. Almost 21 years later I finally have what I wished for!
Tomb Raider 2 was the most action packed of the original trilogy! It had the highest kill count by FAR! The guns sounded loud as hell! It was a masterpiece!
Judy Neptune The most horrifying to me is definetly the first game, i remember when i got TR1 as a kid and absolutely loved it even though i was very scared at times, the scariest parts being meeting the T-Rex and seeing the mutants for the first time. The third game is my second favourite. The first one is the best one hands down in my opinion. TR2 is better than TR4,5 but not better than the third game
Nathan McCree is such a talented composer. Many thanks to the London Philharmonic for delivering such a beautiful performance. This type of music needs to be heard.
I spent a good deal of my married life upstairs mastering these games.......hence why im now old and single 👍🏻😂😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 BUT THE GAMES WERE MORE FUN🤣😂 OMG the Venice Violins is SUPERB as she escapes in the 🚤 I bought these games as soon as they came out 24 years ago! I still play them on my tatty old PS1 and 2. I dont like the new games OK the graphics were very boxy and unrealistic compared to todays creations I was 37 when i first got hooked on them I am now 61 and STILL loving the music and the games! Thank you for sharing!👍🏻🤟🏻
Beautiful performance of a great composition! The musical elements of the TR series were always highly enjoyable and still are today. Speeding around Venice in that motorboat was always one of my favorite and most fun part of the game!
My very first Tomb Raider game! The soundtrack got my attention from the beginning. Never thought back then we could eventually watch it being performed live.
Ahhhh I simply can't wait to receive my signed double tin CD of the Tomb Raider Suite, so so proud of what Nathan and his wonderful team have managed to accomplish, just phenomenal.
2007: Tomb Raider Anniversary Release. My thoughts back then "oh my god! its been 10 years!!!" now we are heading straight to the 25 Anniversary of Tomb Raider!!!! 25 Years!!!
The Venice music at 2:50 sounds better than the original❤ Just so beautiful. I'm so glad this game got a remastered in February 2024. And I hope Tomb Raider 4 and 5 get a remastered too.🙏
I played this all the time as a kid in the 90's, but never managed to get passed the dino in the Great Wall, so I missed out on the rest of the music 😥 until I discovered cheat codes that is
When I played that game for the first time yes I finished it...but I passed through all night to get it...Next day?...I had to go to the college class. Dizzy...😵😵😵
I’m really tired of this crap, i hope that Corona will calm down as soon as possible because i can’t stand living like this for too long. I’ve always loved the music in the original Tomb Raider games, especially the music in TR1 is the most memorable to me so hearing this being played by a Live Orchestra is a dream come true.
