Last time I accidentally saved myself stuck midair going down to the lava at 31:35 when I was supposed to reload the game. I literally cried for a moment
@@McZachary44tr3 is pure crap. It was made along with the concept of having to buy the strategy guide. The lighting was also horrible in ps version, you cant see anything even in the normally lighted areas
This is crazy, imagine this save gets corrupted or you somehow save in a position where you have softlocked yourself somehow, you have to start the whole game again. These were different times.
@@modrozelenaalga9607 Tomb raider 2 has many awesome levels , opera house, diving arena, the deck, Maria Doria , and barkhang monastery are the best ones in my opinion.
This is very hard level (a lot of traps) Secrets: Gold, Silver and Jade dragons - bonus: Uzi's ammo x8 Items: dragon seal, gold key, silver key and jade key Enemies: Barricuda Tigers Eagles Spiders Giant spiders (e.g. at 24:16) -> these enemies only appear in this level goal: go back to the room with the dagger
Preach. I’m getting towards the end of the level and had to take a break, because after 20 tries of doing that stupid springboard sequence and dying each time, I was ready to sacrifice my controller. 😂
This is awesome, this dude is a master of the controls and intricacies of this game/level. I was like 8 or 9 when this game came out and me and my brother played all of them on the PlayStation. I was never able to get this far in the game tho sadly because I was too impatient as a kid to master a level like this through trial and error.
In my view always the best Tomb Raider, the only fault I’d give is maybe it was too combat heavy, although some liked it with more as the first one lacked it perhaps sometimes. This level is the first thing I think of when I think of Tomb Raider. A classic!
At 29:02, the lure has that Large Medpack only on the left, which cannot be picked up, or does it have some trick or maybe a bug that makes it possible to pick it up? Lara does not hold on to the ladder.
I’m really curious about the transition between the end of this level and the beginning of the floating islands. She gets off the ladder and walks down another hallway, does it just ascend onto one of the floating platforms?

Press jump and down at the same time so that way you jump backwards then press roll right as you jump so you roll mid jump (P.S. hold action to grab onto the ladder as well)
I’m literally playing this right now and I can’t fucking make the jump and turn around (PS1) Update: did it lmfao. You have to press square and hold circle, then press and hold x as quickly as you can (default controls)
