I will always remember 2020 as a year when I played first six Tomb raider games: first one played before the lockdown, second and third played during the lockdown, last three and these expansions after the lockdown. So now as I saw this, I got a flashback, as it's still fresh.
Funny how many people started playing the old school tomb raider games during quarantine. I started playing tr3 as an 9 year old in 1999 and couldn't get past temple ruins. So here I am in my 30s, barely finished it a month ago, thanks to quarantine boredom. I think the tr3 games are the TOUGHEST games in the franchise and I'm glad to say i finally beat it :) GG, by the way, OP! I never got the chance to play the expansion...

I love TR3 its had everything jumping puzzles and those levels HABBA HABBA pure gold (My favourite part is the monster of the lackness or nessy it’s was presented in this game) Can’t wait for TR1 gold !!! Nice gameplay you rock

I've been looking for it for a really long time as i couldn't remember the exact name! I remember that i bought it as a TR5 pc version game!!! That was the description from the store I purchased it. I was young, naive and ignorant buying a unreliable copy of the game in times we ( in my country) didn't have access to a lot of information about gaming in general. Im not very proud of it but i also sold it as a TR5 copy to a classmate of mine. And the line of fraud and deception continued...😝
Jesus FUCKING Christ! I finally found it, holy shit, I almost though I was going crazy, I remember playing this on my uncles PC when I was around 7yo and I couldn't find the name of this Tomb Raider game, I've seen full gameplays from Tomb Raider 1 to Chronicles trying to find this one and I couldn't find, for a moment I really thought I was losing my mind and was all just a dream or whatever, god damn man, I loved this game, never knew it was an expansion pack, kinda sad I can't buy it anywhere else, but I'm really glad I found it!
How do you get this game to run? I've tried just about everything and all I get when I try to tun the game is it looks like it's going to work, it runs for a few seconds and then just closes itself. Strangely enough TR3 itself runs without any issues at all.

I think that all the gold levels from tr1 to tr3 are Phill Campbell’s and not the other level designers. I do believe he says something about it on TRLE manual.

@@stevenPCGaming I tried to get Peixoto's file but whenever I opened it it said that no file could be found. Also, your link in the description regarding Peixoto led me nowhere as the file is missing.
Tr1 and tr 2 my favorites. Unfinished business and golden mask were great games. Lost artifact was great to. I like it more then TR3. TR 1 and 2 I liked more the expensions but tr3s is the only where I liked the expension more then 3s.
Ugh.. the lost artifact. Despite this not being my first TR, I remember I was clueless in the first part of the first level. I didn't know the vine on the wall was climbable. I spent hours trying to figure that out. 🤦♂️ hey I was a 14 year old kid !!! 😜
There's a way to get both Harpoon and Uzi in a single segment. After you get the harpoon (12:36), you swim as to grab the left edge of the Uzi's surface holding the jump and arrow key... or something
what do you mean tiny window? To begin the fresh configuration, you need to delete "Config" file in the game folder. Also, plz use peixoto's patch to run this game. It's much better to use.
Hey, how did you get it to run in widescreen but not stretched? I'm trying to run it using the Piexoto patch app, but for some reason I'm getting an image that fills my whole 16:9 screen but is somehow stretched vertically - everything looks taller than it should be.
@@stevenPCGaming It's showing 720p (it's what I set in the config and it's shown in the game too). Without Piexoto's patch the game doesn't play sound, with it, the image is stretched vertically. Then I found a few alternate executables that fix the issue. I wanted to use a patch that restores some PSX features and moves (apparently allowing to crouch roll), but it crashes my game on launch. Right now I'm using some .exe that works fine and doesn't warp my image, so I'll stick with that.
@@stevenPCGaming Actually, I just switch my Logitech from Xinput to D-input and I can set the controls in-game, just have to remember NOT to touch the movement controls, because once I confused forward with dash or something and the only way to fix that was deleting the config file and starting over. Controls work perfectly for me without any joy2key or anything (trying to use pad-keyboard emulation causes problems, because the default controls can trigger Windows functions - once flipped my display 90 degrees because apparently alt+ctrl+arrows do that). Running old games just be like that.
@@teddyharvester Can you use your gamepad or controller after the game is launched? That's the common bug for TR3. Like the weird stretched resoultion 😅

Players can pick the medipack up, but for my case was no because I didn't precisely stand on the meds after rolling. If I insist on picking it up, I will have to lose some health after climbing back up.
I cannot get this game running on widescreen properly with the original tr3gold exe at all. if I use the tr3 exe I can't kill Sophia at the end... sigh. Can you share your exe file so we can play it properly pls?

Steven, may I ask if you can add timestamps to this video, so the viewers for example can click on a timestamp to come to the level Willard’s Lair? 2. I’m imagining about a remake for Tomb Raider 3, where everything is exactly like in the original TR3, including that it’s the same exact graphics, soundtrack, music, sound effects, voices and character models etc. from back in the year 1998, but the difference is that there are more adventures (a location with four levels) to play after the events in Antarctica. In other words, the game Tomb Raider 3 continues after the events in Antarctica, with more locations to visit and adventures to play. Among other things, after Antarctica, you take that helicopter in the end to a City of the Dead, where you first enter the tomb of Willard, whom you killed in Antarctica and who is now a spirit and turned good (since you lose all your evil and bad sides when you die and come up to God), and the goal is to get to a museum, where you can hand in the artifacts you gathered in India, Nevada, South Pacific and London. And after that, there are even more adventures. First Sweden (where I live), then Hongkong (where I’ve been on vacation), then Sydney and Cairns (two locations in Australia where I have been on vacation), and then even more. That remake is called, Tomb Raider 3: More Adventures After Antarctica, shortened TR3:MAAA. I’m imagining about this remake because the game Tomb Raider 3 is so very amazing, and when that game ends, the fun and amazement is over. And that’s what I think about Antarctica in Tomb Raider 3, whether it’s the final location or not, that it’s so amazing and fine that there deserves to be even more adventures after Antarctica. I thought this may be the best video to comment this on, since this video is all about an expansion to Tomb Raider 3. 🙂

Expansions are not made form CORE. They were made From other devs. However, looking from the loading screen and story concept, you are able to know the story of the lost artifact is about 😉

that's understandable. Some of the ways are not easy to spot. If you're after some weapons near the riverside, it may take you more time since it's kinda... tricky and challenging 😅
@@stevenPCGaming Honestly that level is huge its daunting, and I was using a keyboard with standard controls and more often than not I kept dying, I feel with a controller I would have done a better job.
To this day, I wonder how Sofia Li was able to survive the electric shock from TR 3? 😂 Or is that her twin sister? Anyway, it's TR, you don't have to understand this puzzle 🤷🏻♂️😂
