Tomb Raider III Glitchless Speedrun. World Record as of 10.3.2023. This run has smaller mistakes in some levels but I did get the goal time I had set my mind for, 1:51!

Why is swan diving under this door here 1:04 considered a glitch (Im guessing since you went for the key) but jumping over this fence here at 22:52 is not considered glitch?

would it be faster when crouched without moving tap the run button to do a roll through the gaps, its quicker then crawling ? it save some good time, also gg man

This is original TR, not the remastered version. You can't crouch roll here.

We play on JP version because it has double damage on every gun except Grenade Launcher and Rocket Launcher

For the question, 'if there's a game which is intended to be speedran glitchless': take a look into good old Diablo 2. It's RNG-Hell and there are no major skips/glitches

far as i know, lara doesn't stumble into walls, it avoids that animation - which loses time by quite a bit when mistakes add up

@Footi I really like TR 3 because of the variety in the environments. But yeah, that's pure personal preference. And I thought speed runners know the story and every pixel of the levels inside out :D

If you avoid getting spotted by the second guard in this level, he'll delay triggering a flipmap. As soon as the third guard spots you, the second guard will also get aggro'd, making him run directly to the flipmap trigger. This flips the rocket room, removing the dummy triggers that the trapdoors need to have collision. Works as well in the remastered

49:29 why didn't you just go to the end. and instead you did a cycle for nothing. i think the trap was already open to go inside the train.

While open it's actually inaccesible on the map and you can't go through the door - that cycle is to flipmap and be able to go through that door at the end.
