Here's the finished piece from today's RU-vid live stream. This time I orchestrated the theme from the Original Tomb Raider game. Bits improvised here and there but it stays quite faithful to Nathan McCree's awesome original. It was recreated from ear so excuse any bad notes or improvisations!

This is a beautiful rendition. Listening to this just brings back so many memories and emotions from my childhood. As weird as this might sound, my grandma and I would play Tomb Raider together all the time when I was a kid. Within the first seconds I started crying, overwhelmed with nostalgia from then. And I didn't stop crying until the song ended. Thanks for this.

Ismael Aguilar I agree as well, i’ve replayed the first game so many times and i still don’t get bored of it. It’s still one of the best games i’ve ever played. I remember playing it with my father the first time around and i really miss those days a lot. I just have to mention that there is a website called TRLE with people who have made their own adventures available for download. There are a lot of great levels and they use the engine of TR1 to TR5. This is possible because of the Level Editor included in TR5 for PC. Really recommend you to check it out.

Aye, 1-6 are some of the best adventure games I've played. Legend-Underworld were good too, though they felt watered down in places(though Anniversary manages to escape most of it.) The reboot, in my opinion is a good game but it has a ways to go before its a good Tomb Raider game(haven't played Rise yet.)

Spacebattler Don't know much about Superman comic/film history so you lost me there. Old Tomb Raider is the true raider though, no bullshit rag dolling or censoring etc..

This is so soothing and beautiful.... while I simply HATED the original games for thier horrible stiff controls and atrocious camera controls, the music at least, is a true work of art

Sadly the new tomb raiders are nothing like the old ones. I dont care what kids these days say. They are not the same. Tomb Raider was never a call of duty first person shooter with tons of combat. On TR one on the PS1 i spend the majority of time trying to figure out how to pass the level. Most of us did not get internet until the mid 90's and even then you could not get the info we have now to pass the level. Gamers have it easy now, Cant pass a level? Go on youtube and see how it is done.
