Thank you very much for this tutorial. We received this machine as a gift and my wife feels that's more hassle than just cooling down a hot milk bottle in a cold water bowl. This video helped us see just how simple it is. Going to give the machine a try now!
Thank you for this, very useful for me as I'm going to be a first time mum (due in July) I wanted to get mam bottles but was hoping I could still have this miracle machine...now I know I can. Thanks again :)
Hi Summer! I am happy my video could help a fellow first time mum!! I wish you a happy and restful rest of your pregnancy! Kindest Regards, MrsHomeMakerUK
Hi Lauren! I wish you a smooth and happy final trimester and I am happy my video could be of assistance! This machine will make the early days so much easier!!! I’m now past the 1 year mark but looking back this is by far the best purchase I made! Wishing you and your family the best of health and happiness and welcome to the world in advance to your little one! Take care xxxx
We bought one and it’s a great machine, our midwife however advised us not to use it due the boiling water isn’t as hot as it should be to kill bacteria for the powder
Very helpful thank you 😊 with my first son I never invested in buying and doing it the old method way, just took ages. But this time I thought definitely get one now I have my new born and a toddler it makes it soo much easier. It’s such a life saver 🙌🏽
Do you know roughly how long each filter lasts for before changing it to a new one? I do plan to use water from a filtered jug anyway so hopefully this helps.
It’s around 3 months! The red light appears just before or on the 3 months mark, but you don’t have to change it until it is flashing red (according to the manual) so I wait to just over 3 months then change it!:) Hope that helps, Kind Regards MrsHomeMakerUK
Its lovely to see all these new machines as in my day we didnt have these, only steam sterilizers. Still not as fast as breastfeeding but were getting there :)
@@bigt5521 you do apparantly yes. It gives a steam shot to kill any left over germs… so really all this does is reduce the need to cook the bottle down by doing what I did in the 90’s and gives a bottle of perfect temperature. So you need to clean and sterilise bottles, still put correct amount of powder in so therefore isn’t depends whether it’s actually worth it. I can honestly say I wouldn’t pay what they cost just for perfect temperature…. Doesn’t take five mins to stick the bottle in a jug of cold water to cook it down haha! X
Hi Jemma, yes it makes a warm bottle that isn’t too hot! My machine has never made any mistakes with the temp! It worked perfectly for me everytime! Warm regards, MrsHomeMakerUK
the reason why there is no 1oz prep is because 1oz is not enough water to properly dissolve the formula ... think about it .. if you want 1oz of milk .. it needs hot water to mix the formula and then it needs to pour cold water to make it ready to use ...🤦♂️
