Thank you for sharing your story, Tommy! I can't wait to see your artwork at the next Epcot Art Festival at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, USA! You can bring your guide dog and talk about how much you love to create Disney Art 🙂 Tell your mom, "Thank you for being my friend!"
That's a great idea! For the moment, Tommy is beginning to learn how to animate his iPad drawings using an app called Procreate Dreams with the help of his friend Sadie, who has studied animation! He is thrilled to begin seeing his drawings start to become animation :) This is a really great new phase as his drawings have become a huge daily activity that brings him, and others, much joy!
Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen a video from you guys...while I'm not a dog person (more or less of a cat person), I have taken care of dogs in the past - even when me and my parents had "pup-stody" of my sister's beagle Abby, who sadly passed away in 2018. We also had a labweiler dog (half Labrador, half Rottweiler) long before Abby was ever born named Blossom (after the NBC sitcom from the early 1990s), and we later adopted a border collie named Duke. Needless to say, Duke, like a lot of many dogs, was scared of thunder. Also, he was frightened of the sound effects and music from SeaQuest DSV (another show that used to air on NBC in the 1990s - it was like an aquatic version of Star Trek). I like how Tommy was mentioning a lot of dog breeds in the video - I can remember a lot of dog breeds thanks to a poster at our vets' office that shows the many dog breeds let alone the cat breeds. I will also add that the picture of the Manx cat sticks out in my memory - it now reminds me of Koko's Kitten (a book about Koko, the gorilla who does ASL) Many congrats to Tommy! Hope all is well for you guys in Canada! -Andrea
Hi Andrea, Thanks for your message! Yes, Tommy loves learning dog breeds, and especially enjoys mixed breed names! He is very blessed to have Tyrone, who is just an amazing working dog and buddy in every way! We love cats too, they are awesome in their own way! All is well for us in Canada, hop you are doing well too! Great to hear from you
