TOMMY JOHANSSON - ANGELS CRYING (E-TYPE) - ft. SUNGEN OLDSKULENERD REACTION 

E-Type is actually a metal head and the music he did was very much metal but using europop instrumentation and female pop vocals. You could probably make metal covers of most of his songs. BTW the superhot chic in the video didn't actually sing anything, the female vocals on all E-Type songs was done by Nana Hedin, one of the most talented female vocalists Sweden has ever produced imho

Sungen, or Magnus Östling as he is actually called, is a guy from Tierp who initially became known for his funny clips he posted on Facebook. Sungen is a fictional character that Magnus plays, but many people can still recognize themselves in his clips, even though they contain a large portion of humor and comedy. In 2020, Sungen also started posting music videos of his songs on his Yotube channel and has gone from being a funny person on Facebook to becoming a music artist. Although all his songs still contain a large dose of humor and should not be taken too seriously.

Ok, so here we go into some swedish music history. You are gonna love this! If you look at the guy who produced the song ”Angels crying”, you will see his name, Max Martin and now everything starts getting interesting. E-type worked with a guy called Dennis Pop, that was the king of 90s dance music. Unfortunatly he died very young in cancer(if i dont remember it wrong). But before he died he started working with this guy Max Martin. Max Martin also is from Sweden and was a metalhead (another one) from the beggining, but he is now one of the biggest or even the biggest song writers in the world, I shit you not. Let me give you some examples of music he wrote and artists he has written music to. How about: shake it of - Taylor swift, I want it that way - backstreet boys, My universe - coldplay, Send my love - Adele, I kissed a girl - Kate perry, One moore knight -Maroon 5, Its my life - Bon jovi, Baby one more time - Britney spears, Oops i did it again - britney spears, So what - pink, Everybody - Backstreet boys, Stupid love - Lady gaga, Va va voom - Nicki Minaj, Tearin up my heart -nsync, Scream - Usher, My life would suck without you - kelly clarkson, Till the world ends - Britney spears and why dont mention some of the biggest hits he made….like: This is love - Will i am, When your looking like that - Westlife, Hair up(in the movie trolls) - Justin timberlake gwen stefani, Your body - christina Augilera, Save your tears - the weeknd and even Blinding lights - the weeknd, he also wrote hits to demi levato, ellie goulding, Ed sheeran, Ariana grande, Eminem, Celine dion….yes, its true. This is just a few hits and a few artists he wrote songs to, Im not kidding, look him up and you will get totally blown away! Even if its not metal. This guy is nothing but a pure music genious and like e-type(martin) he is a metalhead with long hair and everything. Like I said, he produced this song ”Angels Crying”. So two metalheads make this eurodisco/eurodance song in the 90s and now another metalhead, Tommy, turns it into metal 2024. 😂👍

I've already noticed that Tommy has such a creative mind that his nature is to do things completely different from what we are used to. Nobody gets bored with him.😆🤩👍🎸🔥💯🎉

I have heard sungen some rock radio stations in Sweden have played his music. But all songs i heard with him is in Swedish. Do not know what i should call his genre maybe joke rock. He mostly have songs about drinking cheap beers and often something goes wrong in the lyrics. Cant think of a English band of the same genre i think sungen takes alot from svullo another joke rocker that did pass away
