Tommy outdid himself again, fantastic cover. One of the first songs addressing such heavy social subjects I heard was "In the Ghetto" by Elvis Presley. For a long time I wasn't able to listen to that song without bursting to tears. I think Tommy did justice to the original with this song. Wolfman mentioning Gangsta's Paradise made me think, did you know that Marko Hietala won Finnish version of Masked Singer with that song? You might want to check it out

It seems so easy for Tommy to hit those high notes, so effortless. This is an old favourite song for me and I love it. Sebastian Bach was great, but I am stunned by the way Tommy performs it
This suits Tommy's voice very well. He and Sebastian Bach have similar styles. About the only difference is that Sebastian adds some grit and Tommy sings it clean. I saw Skid Row in 1991, opening for Guns'N'Roses.

I dated a guy who looked and sounded like Sebastian Bach the ex lead vocal for Skid Row. His name was Tommy and was a full on alcoholic. I am not sure where he is as I left him to sober up myself and get on the right track.
Good for you Susan!! I hope Tommy found a different path. I nearly drank myself to death until I found the AA program. I’ve been sober now for over 10 years. I’m grateful every day I didn’t drink myself to death or suesue and I wouldn’t be together!! On another note, my brain has had issues and I don’t remember but didn’t Sebastian Bach have another band he was part of? Thanks-Wolfman 🐺

This song seems too simple for Tommy...karaoke w guitar. I wish he'd have tackled Wasted Time...a much more dynamic vocal. Sebastian Bach will likely come out and knock this...bc he's a raging tool. And he cannot sing like he did when he was young.

He even did a pretty long run on Broadway in Phantom of the Opera! Nowadays, he's a drunk loud mouth who can't zip his jeans or sing on pitch...sad. Sorry, sidetracked in my head...I can totally respect that Tommy drew inspiration from SR. They were great. But I still hope he might cover Wasted Time...bc the vocal performance is more difficult and has such amazing harmonies! Do you know the song?

@@marinamucic908 That's good you checked out the original... when that song came out...NO ONE was singing like Sebastian...and he was very pretty...the song was huge, it blew up the band! The only reason I like the original a little more, is that Sebastian has this real-life torture in his voice. Prolly exactly why Tommy admired him!
But Ed Sheeran was not só goodlucking as Sebastian. The problem is he is not mermaid men enough. From mans like Christian and Ed Sheeran Diána got just 🐖🐖.
